In general, the hotel is comfortable, well organised and perfectly located. My personal favorites are absolute cleanliness, very beatiful pools and direct access to the ocean. Also dining was delicious.

The location is great and next to the Cathedral in the town centre. The room we had was excellent as we had a room with a balcony.
Unfortunately we had to leave very early in the morning and we couldn’t have a cooked breakfast, but they did allow us to come down and have bread, cereal and tea/coffee before we left.

The hotel looked really good from the outside and had a big swimming pool (and even a bar - which was not in action - but still.. :)).

Palmeira is really part of Camara de Lobos. It is worth visiting Churchill Bay every evening, have lunch at the Espadeiro restaurant and try the fisherman's punch, a specialty of this village. But beware: you definitely need to have your car, because traveling from Camara de Lobos by bus is a bit embarrassing.
