The location is amazing, right by the wall. The gardens outside were gorgeous, a great place to have a drink after a day of wandering around the city. The room itself was spacious and had large windows overlooking the garden area; all in all, quite lovely in this regard.

Great location for trip to either or both fortresses. Very pleasant staff, though not English-speaking. Decent restaurant nearby, if the hotel restaurant is only functioning for breakfast.

Nice breakfast, with almost everything we can find on a Hotel breakfast. Nothing was surprizingly good, but nothing was bad. A regular breakfast.
The breakfast was delicious, all local fresh produce. The owner and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, they took fantastic care of us. The location is truly unique and deserves the detour. The house in itself has been beautifully restored and decorated with lots of taste and attention to detail. I would absolutely recommend this boutique hotel to everyone!
