The hotel is an easy walk into the Old Town. The room was spacious and there was a lot of space to hang clothes and open our luggage. The staff were very friendly and the wifi was good. The parking was free and right outside the door of the hotel which was very handy.

The room was actually an apartment with a separate kitchen area, a sitting area and a sleeping area, and a balcony. The staff was kind and attentive, the hotel's location is good, just a short walk from Banská Bystrica mesto train station, a short walk in the other direction from the central SNP Square, and next door to the State Opera! Wifi connection good and the big complimentary mineral water bottle was a nice touch.
A historic building dating from the 16th century, the Hotel Arcade can be found on a small square in the centre of Banská Bystrica. All rooms have a satellite TV, a minibar and a private bathroom.
