You need to get the little bus has small red sign on the top (cash only it was 12 TL each) and goes to the marina (viaport mall) you can get off at the marmaray station if you want train into the city. It is very frequent and the bus stop is at the entrance to the complex. Migros jet is there too, but closes at 9pm. Local people were very helpful, just ask if you need to know where things are. We used Google translate a lot. We had dreadful weather for the last 2 days but went to Viaport by bus as there was shopping and loads of restaurants for us. If using the marmaray consider getting an Istanbul Kart for train, metro, tram etc, makes travelling easy. The city was about 1 hour away by train once you got to the Marmaray station. The local people are incredibly well behaved on public transport, very polite and we usually had a seat ( it’s busy and we are old!) we are not used to such behaviour, no one found it necessary to have loud conversations on their phone, eat drink and generally make a nuisance of themselves as is normal in the UK.

I only stopped for a few hours before catching a connecting flight, woukd like to come again and explore the area. There were lots of food places but nothing for a vegetarian mostky just meat, so I had to survive on just salad. Taxi is quite expensive, if you are staying longer might be better to hire a car, but driving in the European side of Istanbul is nearly impossible due to tight streets, tram line and unusuall lay out of roads.

Lovely beachside village, easy walks along the foreshore.
Lovely beachside village, easy walks along the foreshore. World class aquarium, but needed to insist on buying a ticket just for the aquarium as we did not want to see the animals. As a foreigner they only wanted to sell us a package ticket. Definitely frustrating. Fortunately not peak season, so was finally able to get a ticket to the aquarium only. Also a lovely park to walk around and many locals had a picnic on the weekend.
Good family sized suite. OK for a overnight stay after a flight if you have just arrived in Istanbul and intend to move on to other parts of Turkey. As this was on the Asian side of Istanbul, it was perfect location as it was closer to our next destination in Turkey which meant less of a drive the following morning. You can purchase a mobile SIM in phone shops in the vicinity of the hotel, just don't go to the Vodafone shop, as the store attendent was very rude and doesn't seem to like foreigners. Also plenty of restaurants nearby.
The hotel and staff were truly wonderful, always smiling and in a good mood. Whatever I needed, I was helped with in a short time. Very tasty breakfasts and beverages in the lobby. There were same events with music in the weeknds like weddings I personally enjoyed, but for some people it may be a bit of nuissance. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel to all people who expect good services for affordable price.
We are lucky that we choose this hotel. It was close to our customer site facility and close to all amenities right across the bridge. We also had a chance commuting with the Marmaray Train where the distance to the Train station is just 200m away from Hotel.
In term of the Staff, We want to shoutout to the reception staff her name Buse, she is so kind as always managing us during the stay.
The hotel is great for one or two nights stay. It is very well kept and managed with great breakfast. The staff were great and very helpful. The room was small but it its considered Big for a hotel in Istanbul. The hotel is used by airline crew mostly.
I liked the terrace of the restaurant where we had a nice breakfast ... There was greenery area and part of the dock was showing ....staff were friendly and helping ..short drive from sabiha airport ..car parking is available outside the hotel
I cannot explain how amazing of a stay I had with Moncher, this hotel has set exceptional records and I will definitely be returning back. The staff and cleanliness was amazing. The services were also amazing.
The hotel is in a great location, many nice restaurants and places around. It has a great sea view. Rooms are very clean and nice. All the stuff are so nice and helpful. Great value for the money.
It was clean, the staff was attentive, breakfast was nice, and the neighborhood was interesting. Beyza was particularly helpful and we appreciated the hotel accepting a delivery.
Hotel location is great. It's close from restaurants and Marina park. The lady at the reception was really nice and understanding. She upgraded our room to a larger room.
The hotel was not far away from Sabiha Gokcen Airport & there were shops nearby it. The staff were helpful & friendly. The family room was large & well organized.
We visit this lovely hotel two-three times a year since its opening as it features the biggest spa in Istanbul. The rooms and hotel crew are simply amazing.
The hotel is in a back alley, a bit hidden from the busy street, so it helps with the noise from the street. The personnel was very friendly and helpful.
