The hotel's pricing was significantly higher than the value provided. Despite the advertised amenities, the actual experience fell short of expectations. Disappointingly, the quality of service did not justify the inflated cost.

The young lady at the front desk was super helpful and kind. The wifi was down but pool was open. I did a load of laundry for $2.50. The overall atmosphere was high functioning and responsive to guests.

It is wonderful.
It is wonderful. Lots to do in town and plenty of fun parks & nature areas in town. The Sundial Bridge, Nature Concervancy. Getting around is fast & easy with great freeway system. Of course there are the mountains and rivers, etc. PLEASE, though, do NOT tell anyone! We'd like to keep our favorite vacation spots from becoming like LA 👌

Constant drip from ceiling directly above the toilet...
Constant drip from ceiling directly above the toilet dripping down on your head! Mouse ran across my foot and a cockroach came out from behind the fridge unit. Completely inoperable card lock (people had to prop door open with a rock) A bed that was so old that it was painful to use... we left horrified, traumatized, and in pain! I feel Completely ripped off! When the managent was informed they said sorry and refunded me the 20 dollars on the 40 dollar pet fee! Unacceptable! I feel Booking.com and Red Lion specifically, Ripped Me Off!
A long detour around an unexpected road closure meant that I had a much longer drive home than I expected and I needed a place to stay what remained of the night. The Redding Motel 6 was easy to find and quite comfortable--a much needed rest from a long and wearing drive. The night staff person was quick, courteous, and efficient.
I’m 65, I have at one time or another stayed at every kind of hotel/motel imaginable, expensive to cheap but this was by far the best motel 6 I have ever been. I’m so glad I didn’t get a $150 room. If I travel through Redding again this is where I’ll stay. 2 big thumbs up for the management and staff.
Pool is great and the breakfast was super yum. Probably the best breakfast offering during Covid we’ve experienced. Makes all other hotels offering breakfast look like a joke with their Costco brown bag “grab and go” poor excuse of a “breakfast included” listing.
This property was excellent for our family. We were visiting Redding to see friends and family. The house was in a great location. It was clean, comfortable and had all amenities. We had would recommend it highly for anyone who wants to stay in the Redding area.
The room was spotless...exceptionally clean. The bathroom was great with a great shower. The staff went over and above to make sure that we were comfortable! It's a great location...walkable to shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel!
Great place to relax and unwind after a full day of travel. Beautiful patio view and adorable guest room. Great night sleep and Kim was an amazing host there to help with questions or info about Redding. For our needs the location was perfect.
I've stayed here several times and always really enjoy the staff. The rooms are generally pretty clean, and the location is good, especially if you're traveling on I-5. It can get very hot in Redding, so the pool is also a nice feature.
Enjoy the location, friendly staff and Rosie checked us in even though it was so busy with customers. Love the fact that the hotel has a nice restaurant and we do not have to go anywhere else for dinner. Good breakfast included.
The size and amenities of the room were great! The hotel seemed newer, and the view of the snow capped mountain from the hallway window was fabulous! The staff were friendly and very helpful.
This motel is near I5 and only 15 min from Lake Shasta. We stayed here to get all the supplies in the city for boating in the lake next morning. it is much cheaper than staying near the lake.
When in Redding this is my first choice. Check-in was very friendly. Location is close to freeway but quite. Gas stations, supermarket and restaurants are either close or a 5 minute drive.
very comfortable, central location close to bars and restaurants, easy/free parking, lovely outdoor seating area, great TV. Redding exceeded my expectations with a great vibe
The overall stay and staff went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience. We'll be staying there again. We travel to Redding often to visit our kids.
