The owners/staff were very pleasant, polite, cheerful. The price was very good, especially for a Friday, one night stay, and since there was a chili cook off in town that weekend. It's a little out of town but a very doable walk. (We are in our 70's.) They had a 5 seat + driver, golf cart "taxi" service, tips appreciated. It's fast. clean and comfortable. Being away from the main, downtown area, it is quiet at night. The office has a little Mom and Pop kind of a grocery store, in case you forgot anything or need a snack. Our room was small, but very clean and comfortable. We have stayed there before and would stay there again.

We were in a one bedroom King. The layout was good and it was quiet since the bedroom was not next to the hall. The small kitchen area was nice to have even though we did not cook anything.

VC is a vintage silver mining town in the Sierra foothills, which has much of the original 19th century architecture still intact. Great vibe, good food and fun tours to check out. We're definitely going to come back some day.

We love that town, No negatives.
We love that town, No negatives. The hot buttered rums were extra special. Sorry, I can't remember the name but the lady was extra, extra nice. We had a private dinner at the Canvas Cafe and we felt like it was so special. There were 11 of us there to enjoy the Comstock Boys at the Opera House.

It's an amazing town. So historical.
It's an amazing town. So historical. Has many great places to see for the whole family. And don't forget to check out some of their wonderful events like the camel races, outhouse races, ferrari races, grand prix races, etc!!!
If I could give this 6*, I would. Beautifully restored Victorian house from 1875 in a charming Virginia City (after discovery of the Comstock silver lode). Andria our host is a historian, writer and has a huge depth of knowledge of VC and Nevada. We had wonderful chats over breakfast pastries and long into the evening. Absolutely loved our time here. Stayed in the Sam Davis (blue) room with stunning 100 mile view
The hotel is perfect for those looking for a charming and unique stay. It's nothing fancy but the hotel has a western/pioneer feel with a lot of history. There is a little market on site that is open 8am-8pm which is super convenient. The hotel is also walking distance to the main strip of stores, bars, restaurants. The owners live next door and treat you like family!
The staff had personal interest in the hotel and built relationships with the clients. The hotel had no buildings across the street from it, so there was an amazing view down the hillside. Having a market on site was a delightful surprise. It was quite easy to walk into the center of town and to the train station.
We had a room on the side, very comfy and cool (stone walls). There was a little outside area under a roof. The inn is old and charming - a nice break from generic motels. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Virginia City is steps away and is loaded with eating and drinking options.
Saralyn is an exceptional and friendly host! We were treated like family. The Inn is in a prime location, breakfast was great, and it is an extremely well-kept and decorated space. Highly recommend. Our room has a sweet sky opening with a view of the town!
We didn't realize while booking our room we would be in town for their HUGE St. Patrick's Day celebration. We were happy to have a great parking space during the festivities. Hotel is in a great location not too far from Main Street and shopping.
Virginia City was one of the very nice surprise of our trip in the West. Very typical, and a lot of friendly people, and outside of the usual tourist areas. The motel was very lovely, small rooms, but very cute and clean. Super friendly staff.
This is such a pretty little place. My room (Silver Screen Cowboy) was spacious, and the fridge/microwave area felt nicer than other hotels. The wifi is exceptional. I would definietly stay here again.
Very clean. Gentleman at front desk friendly and also gave information on places to eat. Virginia City closes down early so that was helpful. This inn was in perfect location for what I was doing.
Wonderful cozy property! Great location in a picturesque back in time western town. Enjoyed the back outside grassy area that overlooked a beautiful canyon like scene. Will definitely be returning!
Loved the layout of the house. Love how there’s a little fridge upstairs with water and Gatorade for the guests. Location is prime. Right above the main drag of Virginia City.
The Virginia City Inn was a beautiful clean, old world motel. Located on the outskirts of Virginia City, it's at the heart of the Old Silver and Gold mining area of Nevada.
This property is very clean and just up the road from the main hub of Virginia City. We stayed in a room with a very comfortable king size bed. I’d stay here again.
