Small town, many good restaurants, great skiing. WP has more blue intermediate runs, MJ side, more black runs. Panoramic Express is a great lift to the top at 12,000 feet. Pepe Osaka, good Mexican/Japanese fusion restaurant, Idylwild, good apps.

Getting around town is very easy.
Getting around town is very easy. I would recommend all wheel drive for the winter. We enjoyed Wake n Bacon, Randi's Pub & Fontenot's. Colorado Adventure Park has great tubing - go early in the day. Lines were crazy long when we left.DiellaUnited States - 8.0Scored 8.0

Very beautiful mountain with great snow and sun. A bit crowded on the snowy weekend and drive back to Denver was VERY slow and congested. Good pizza :-) Lift bus system works well but highly suggest pay parking if you have kids and gear.

Great for skiers and plenty to do for the non-skiers. The town is small but has lots of restaurants, breweries, and shops. There are several tubing hills nearby and numerous hiking trails for all abilities.

Nice activities in the Park. Visitors center very helpful. Plenty of eating and shopping. Close enough to Rocky Mountain National Park to spend time there. Other close areas that are nice to visit, Fraser, Granby, Grand Lake for example. Easy access from highway.

A Beautiful and Amazing Area! There is so much awesome nature and wildlife to see in the area. We would have loved more time! We attended a wedding and events. More time exploring the area and doing activities in the area, would have been wonderful.

Communication was timely and check-in/out was easy. Received door code by email as promised with clear instructions on how to use the keypad. It was really great to have a garage to put the car in. Travel size shampoo/conditioner provided but didn't use. It is modestly decorated but looks decent for an older unit.

The hotel CALLED ME me to ask if we were coming - we were unsure - she offered to change our res or refund it. We were thrilled and asked for the refund. The gal was very nice. She said to request it through booking.com and the hotel would approve the request - so we gave up the room and di as she said. And then......they never refunded us!

The hot tub is just half a flight of stairs down from right outside the door. It's directly across the street from the resort and an easy walk. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and cooking supplies. Our kids loved the pool - it was even warm in the snow! We walked to a couple of great restaurants and coffee shops. The unit is very clean and comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit.
