Fire pit was a nice edition, friendly people, owner was helpful, super friendly and gave advice on some places to check out. Quiet and tucked away. Very clean and set up nicely for easy use. Hot water was not a problem at all and shower wasn’t too small and was a good size. A/C was a nice addition to warm the room a little if it got too cold. Everything needed was available that we needed. Although we didn’t need it, a bbq was available for use if needed which was a nice touch. Heaps of Power outlets if you need to charge your phone or music speaker, etc. Overall a worthwhile stay and was nice to get away from the city hustle and bustle for a nice quiet retreat. Highly recommended!

Amazing property in a beautiful bush setting. Our family including grandparents and dog all had a wonderful visit and would love to go back. There is lots to do on the property including bush walks, a fun rope swing and dam for swimming, cabana for sunset drinks and an outdoor fire place/chimenea for toasting marshmallows on chilly mountain nights. It was an easy half hour bush walk to Bilpin for coffee, pies and pastries at Grumpy Baker and a short 15 min walk by road to Hill Billy Cider for cider and wood fire pizza. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. Loved the outdoor shower and the stone bath. Friendly hosts were happy to share info on the local area and the property but not intrusive which was nice. Would recommend for two families to share as there was ample space for 8 people.

Nungaroo cottage is heaven on earth. If we are talking about the facilities alone then this review would still give top marks because the cottage was massive, clean and beautiful. The smell of wood hits you as soon as you walk in, the cabin has everything you might need and even more. The beds were so comfortable and fresh, the hosts have considered every little need or want you may have and accommodate for it before you even know you wanted it. The cabin has many books in it that have all the information about the surrounding local area, local gems, places to visit and history of the property. The cottage features horses, donkeys, geese, chickens, a peacock and beautiful parrots flying around the property, not to mention Peter's loyal and sweet dogs. The spa was so relaxing aswell! Nungaroo is really paradise, and a place we are going to visit for years to come hopefully. I have never had my expectations so extremely exceeded. I found this stay more luxurious and relaxing than one of the top hotels in Sydney. Liz and Peter are genuine and caring hosts. If you have the opportunity to stay here, don't pass it up.

Upon arrival we were provided with complimentary non-alcohol yummy ciders from a local brewery, some home-grown fresh herbs and lemons. There was also a binder with information of all the things to do nearby and menus for the local restaurant. Our absolute favourite part, however, was getting to collect the freshly laid eggs each morning to make a yummy breakfast.
