It’s style and location. Govetts Leap and Blackheath centre easily accessible. The garden and outside space backs onto beautiful fauna and bush. Although roomy it is easily warmed. The leaky blankets were a treat. Great games too, though we passed on table tennis lol.

Enjoying a hot tub outside and the sauna after a long bush walk was very much appreciated. The breakfast provided was also appreciated with fresh boiled eggs, fruit, toast, local yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses, tea and coffee. The staff (when you can find them) were friendly and helpful-of special note was Jen and Jess.

They’ve added some nice features like a veggie garden, chooks, a hot tub and a sauna as well as a fresh paint job. There’s also a tennis court! The restaurant and bar set up looks nice, and I imagine in winter with the fires going is pretty cosy.

My husband accidentally left his wallet in the room before we left on a day trip to Lithgow. See found the wallet and it was returned the same way she found it - on the bed. We appreciate her honesty and kindness. Cannot wait to be back next year!
