Enchanting view of the opposite mountains and tropical birds visiting every morning with a bird book to identify them and handmade art pieces from the art professor who owns it. His wife was very warm and helpful and we enjoyed meeting them both.

What an amazing place, it absolutely exceeded our expectations. Pictures definitely don't do this place justice! It is so beautifully, the views are out of this world - unreal. Our room was so beautiful, very clean. The family that owns this place is run by such amazing and welcoming people, and the breakfast is SO GOOD!! They are also very dog friendly, and they have two peacocks that just run around the property. Wifi is like described in the listing, shower was HOT and getting there is very easy with a tuk tuk. Personally I am super happy, we didn't stay in the city, because the views in this place and on the way there are something you definitely don't want to miss! Cannot recommend this place enough! ♥️🇨🇴🌴

We loved our stay at Casa Viva Alojamiento! It is perfectly located about 1.5 miles from Jardin, offering spectacular views of the town and surrounding mountains. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive, picking us up from the bus center for a reasonable fee, which made it much easier for us since we had luggage, and providing answers to our questions throughout our stay. For those that enjoy nature and the outdoors, this is a perfect location where you can hike to town and surrounding trails. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was also delicious. We were incredibly happy with this rural, truly Colombian experience, at a VERY resonable price.

Gulupa has a beautiful garden where you can enjoy the birds and the view on your own terrace. The cabins are clean and cozy and the breakfast is delicious (and plentiful). We went by car but in the evening we took the tuktuk to the city. that worked perfectly!

However, it is worth it as you wake up to the most stupendous views of Jardin and the surrounding coutryside and the mountains beyond. The owner, Gustavo, has built the place from scratch and his love and attention to detail is obvious. He will go out of his way to ensure your stay is as good as it can be. The hot tub is an added bonus!

The amenities are great - outdoor hot tub, comfy beanbags, well stocked fridge, zip line. it’s a 15 minute (bumpy!) tuktuk or 30 minute hike from the centre, but so worth it for the views and peace. the breakfast is the very best I’ve had in Colombia. it was a natural paradise.JoeYoung couple
