We loved how peaceful, classy and clean the studio is! Great amenities and finishes and the bed was really comfortable. The setting is beautiful and the use of the clubhouse with gym, pool and game room was awesome! The Monday morning community breakfast was tasty and a good chance to commune with other residents and guests. The hosts Ian and Marcela are personable, available and went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable. One of the highlights of a great stay was an amazing reflexology session with Mariela. We also took advantage of a massage in their spa, which was super affordable. The drive from town to their suite was on a short dirt road with great views of the lake, so we chose to buy some food in town to cook in their amply supplied kitchen rather than drive back and forth.

The cabin had all the amenities one could need and perfect for cooking a great meal and enjoying right on the front deck in nature. Walking distance to some nice off road paths that lead you to beautiful views of Tiliran. The host Jessica only made the stay more amazing and was so helpful and knowledgeable with all things to do around. She even gave us a ride and some bananas for breakfast from the trees right outside the cabin window 😁

The lodge is secluded and peaceful in the rainforest above the lake with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The Ceiba Tree itself is spectacular. Breakfast was delicious every day, premium coffee and fresh, home-cooked food. We also reserved a three course dinner with wine one night and it was absolutely delicious. Room was cute and comfortable and there was a wonderful covered patio. Can't say enough about how lovely our stay was. We definitely plan to return in the future.AlexiaYoung couple

This lodge and the majestic ceiba tree that it overlooks are magical. The entire property is thriving with wildlife. Sergio, the owner, is so welcoming and knowledgeable about the local ecosystem. Sergio helped us with a punctured tyre on a Sunday, when I’m sure he had better things to do. He is also a mine of information on the region and what there is to do. Breakfast and evening meal were freshly cooked each day, using quality local ingredients and were worthy of the best restaurants. The lodge is in a lovely setting, with the giant ceiba tree in the grounds, one of only 40 in the whole of the country apparently.

Sergio and his wife are perfect hosts. He had many valuable information and is so fun to talk to. We got an upgrade on the room as we were the only guests. Thanks so much again. They put much heart into every detail of their service, food, lodge and garden. The lodge is located very close to or rather in the jungle. It was a great location for us to do daily trips to Arenal and volcanos, waterfalls and the lake, while at the same time being able to enjoy the great view (also sunset) and the exciting sounds of the jungle during days and nights. Also, Sergio’s Baileys is the best - so creamy!

A beautiful garden, a perfect and private house. The breakfast was every morning again a surprise and the dinner was of a high standard. Everything fresh and very tasteful! The owners are friendly and very helpful! A place we will definitely recommend to all our friends and family!
