In the middle of the forest, the family-run lodge worships nature and everything that it has to offer. A beautiful garden surrounds nice, simple cabins and includes a small pool, great for hot, sunny afternoons. Breakfast is simple but nice and so are meals. The family is extremely friendly and helpful with anything you may need, from excursions to transportation. It's a 40min walk to the village through a beautiful forest path, but it's easy to get a boat ride too, as the family goes there frequently.

The host was nice and made us feel like at home. In front of our cabin was a pool that we enjoyed to refresh while tucans and parrots were flying above us. The bungalow is simple but absolutely sufficiently equipped. The rooms were cleaned every day and we even got new bed linen after 2 nights. The breakfast and dinner was brilliant, very fresh and deliciously cooked. The whole lodge complex is very nicely maintained and you feel at home here. I also really liked the decoration of the lodge and the cabins. The walls of the cabins are paper thin and they have no glass so you can hear everything your neighbors say, but we had no problems sleeping.
