Where do I start? Because of our busy lives we always look for quiet areas - well this is it. At the end of a dead end street, ehh: single track road (love it!) we found the farm - we where waited for by Ann who is married with Pat. Ann - what a lovely amazing lady, what a character! "I'm deaf and daft" she said when we met her. Well, she still hears a lot and she is funny! Walking on bare feet, swimming/skinny dipping in the duck pond - what a character indeed. We booked the 'tiny house' - we could have stayed there for a week -easily- but because I'm quite tall (2.02m) Ann was concerned about my wellbeing - I could bump my head against the front or back door, the shower - toilet is really small but still all doabe - no problem! As said we could easily stay in the tiny house for a week but Ann decided to 'upgrade' us to the big house of her daughter who accidentally went on holiday in that week. Well - that house was an upgrade indeed. Faaaar bigger, nice views with sea and valley views. The other thing we really liked: both the tiny house and the bigger house upgrade had a personal touch - you really felt someone lives there instead of a house being 'decorated' for rental purposes. I have never seen this before - really nice! Also really nice - the 2 lovely dogs wandering around, the four chickens who at te end get to know you and they even came into the house asking for some bread - loved it! Pat is part of a 9 man/ (male/female) band - they played on Thursday in a close by pub - really really good!!!! Tip: walk down the valley to the beach and do not run into anyone else - amazing hike! We are adding some pictures - note that these are from the 'upgrade' bigger house - but both the tiny house and bigger house (upgrade( are excellent!. Thank you Ann and Pat - what an amazing week!! We -really- enjoyed it!

We had a lovely few days here. The property is gorgeous with a private garden. All high end appliances. Few minutes walk to the beach/shops/restaurants. Just perfect!

The cottage that we rented for the weekend was very comfortable with electric fireplace, board games and tv with Netflix in case of bad weather. Everything needed was there in the same place you would have at home. The hot tub was also amazing-made us feel relaxed after a long day of climbing. It is definitely a place worth recommending if you want to visit Cornwall as it is not far away from Tintagel Castle or Boscastle with extraordinary views.

Also there's a couch-swing in the back garden and beautiful flowers and greens. We enjoyed a company of 2 friendly cats that greeted us when we were around.

All are attractively laid out in their own areas, with plenty of facilities e.g. play areas for children, etc. The farm is situated just off the A39 coastal road, a mile outside the appealing Cornish seaside town of Bude. The host was absolutely amazing and even came to our lodge to give us paracetamol as my partner was feeling poorly! Couldn’t have asked for a better helpful host. There was also a bottle of prosecco and welcome basket with some treats! Thank you Chris!
