We rested at the end of October when the town was already closed for the tourist season, so I think that's why it was very quiet and cozy for us. There is a very cool cafe next to the apartment with hearty breakfasts, one and a half minutes we walked out the door and immediately ended up in the cafe) very convenient! It was very quiet both day and night. The apartments themselves seemed much better than in the photos! They are wonderful! Appartment is clean, the bedding, mattress, and pillows are of very good quality! The host has prepared many pleasant and necessary items, shampoos, even toothpaste and toothbrushes. We felt a caring welcome in every detail! I recommend taking a taxi to the apartment from the port for about 15 minutes, but walking uphill on the stairs. It's better to pay 5 euros for a taxi.

Oceania House was the perfect base to explore all Syros had to offer. Whilst the inside accomodation is on the smaller side, the outdoor space more than makes up for this with the brilliant pool and terrace. The views from the terrace are incredible (the photos don't doit justice), we spemt many hours relaxing by the pool and taking in the views from this extremely peaceful and secluded vantage point. The hosts were extremely accomodating, providing a daily high quality clean of the appartment. The additional ammenities including daily towel change, toiletries , outdoor barbeque space plus speaker system were excellent touches. We look forward to coming back again very soon!

Le Petit Château is a beautiful place to stay in Ano Syros; it is the third time we have been there and we feel really happy in this charming, peaceful medieval little house. We really live it as an experience of sharing the life of the people of Ano Syros and its sourroundings, and not just as visitors. We feel at home and we don't want to leave the place when we are there. It has everything we need, well furnished, fonctionning, clean and peaceful, with a great dreamview from the windows. But one of the most important features of Le Petit Château is Maria : she really is a wonderful host, she's so kind and understanding. Unforgettable welcome treats that we still enjoy. We couldn't dream of a better host! Thank you again Maria, and looking forward to being there again soon !

Maria and Nikolas ate very kind and gentle hosts, all was great. The central area of Ano Syros is a few steps from the apartment, and it offers bars, cozy restaurants and little shops. Ermopoulis and its port are easily reachable by public bus (for free); the hosts gave us the timetable. We would surely come back.

Fantastic views right down to the port. All the restaurants and bars of Ano Syros are a short walk away but the house is high enough above them to feel peaceful. Ermoupoli, the port, is beautiful with grand architecture and so well kept.

Close to the bus station and to some traditional shops and restaurants. The living room is a very cosy place to spend the time. The host is very helpful and answers fast regarding informations. We really liked the traditional carrying of packages, that was done by donkeys :)
