Phenomenal location, essentially on the tip of a peninsula overlooking the ocean and with a beach to yourself. The cottage is cosy, warm and had incredible views. When we needed assistance the caretaker Eileen was over within half an hour on a Saturday night to sort us out. Nothing was too much of a bother.

We loved a lot about the cottage. Felt very at home there. It's very cosy and well equipped. The beds are very comfy and the power shower is great! Josephine is very friendly and helpful. There's a fab walk through farm land with mountain and sea views too which is gorgeous!

Great location, clean and private, peaceful. Cute cottage interior. Good self catering facilities. Near lots of stunning beaches on the Cleggan peninsula. A quick drive to Clifden or Letterfrack. I particularly loved that we could take off hillwalking straight from the property without driving anywhere.

The cottage was perfect. Real cosy. In the middle of nowhere which is what we wanted. 30 minute walk in to Cleggan (or a short if we were being lazy) Close enough to Clifden and the scenery was just amazing.

Location, quietness, surroundings, cosy place, large rooms, fireplace, private garden with BBQ. You could reach Cleggan by car in few minutes or having a nice walk (we did both :)

The cottage was exactly as described, spotless clean, comfortable, cosy. What could never be properly described was the welcome and continued helpfulness and friendliness of the hosts, they were amazing. The cottages and surrounding areas are kept to high standards without interrupting the rustic naturalness of the setting. There was plenty for our 4 year old to see and do in a safe and secure environment. It was a great adventure and at a very laid back pace. Simply fantastic, will definitely be back.
