Great location, cute & clean, quiet, close enough to town but also far enough out that you don’t feel like you’re close. Honestly loved everything about my stay and the property! As a solo female traveler I felt very safe here & the owners are very friendly.

The apartment has very modern style, nicely located not far but not too close one of the main roads in southeastern Iceland. The host was very nice, checking in and out was effortless. You have to bring your own food, as explained, but it was possible to get coffee and tea for free from the host. The kitchen is very well equipped, also with dishwasher. The shower is huge, there is floor heating (it was maybe too strong, but it is possible to regulate it). I would certainly go back again.

Everything! It was so clean, alot of privacy as it has a good distance from other houses. We saw the Northern lights from the attic room windows. Oh, it was so good and such a good find. We have 3 boys and this place was definitely good for them in terms of space and privacy (as they get loud). The tea that managed the place was also very responsive in helping us with every inquiry.

Unfortunately, the view when you sit in it is blocked by the wooden panels and the small windows in it are much too high, so you have no view from inside the jacuzzi; was definitely the only drawback. It is very quiet and there are no immediate neighbors. In summer you can enjoy the midnight sun and dine outside on the terrace in good weather conditions. Be sure to use the barbecue. The bubble was cosy and the shower cabin had a great mini kitchen with coffee machine and a selection of hot drinks and milk. The shower facilities were super clean. The bubbles were warm and the heated mattress was great. The bedding was good too. Very glad we stayed here. We'll never forget it.

It had its own toilet and sink, and a lobby with kettle and mini fridge to prepare drinks/snacks. The separate shower room was just next door and very clean. The separate kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to prepare breakfast and cook dinner. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while looking out at the mountains and listening to the local bird life.
