The host, Paola, is lovely - she even prepared italian breakfast for us :) Since we were in Italia in the hottest week of the summer, we were glad for ventilator and AC. It is very private, my dog enjoyed the garden so much, he did not want to go home.

Had everything for a great week. Outside bbq/kitchen area was well used and if you love cooking then there was all the equipment you needed for great meals. Fantastic view of the lake. Also the 204 bus runs every 30 mins from the bottom of the road 5 mins from the villa into Salo and the Aldi was great and only 10 mins walk so we did not need a car.

The actual lodge (totally new build) is 200m away from the farm. And the restaurant (breakfast and diner) lies 5 minute walk from the lodge. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful pool and really nice food. No mass tourism. Just eco friendly. Do it!

The balcony is cosy, you can spend there romantic moments with your sweetheart and have glass of wine in privacy. 2 lavatories is 👍👍👍 The owner was all the time ready to ask when we called her❤ The garage is a huge benefit if you like to hire a car (at least Fiat 500 suits).
