This was totally unexpected- we know not to judge what is behind doors in Europe but this was next level!! We were sent a code for the lock box the night before- still we stood in front of what looked like a disused shop in a small alley just off the Main Street - we saw a lock box & figured we would give it a go… I opened the door and my jaw hit the floor- it was the most amazing space, one which only got better the more we explored. Best of all we could just wheel our bikes inside:) The spacious space, the decor, cleanliness, the though that went into all the amenities. Don’t miss this!!!

The red chalet is very spacious for two people with a terrace facing a superb view, totally relaxing location with all the necessary facilities for our first experience. Showers are amazing and on a timer. Every effort has been made to recycle and re-use on the site so your impact is the lowest it can be. The host is very welcoming, helpful and non-intrusive. The fridge is a good size and the dual hob we only used for kettle boiling but was super efficient.

The location is very close to Leeuwarden while still out in the beautiful Frisian countryside. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of delicious food, and the dinner was also delicious and filling. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
