I liked everything :-) It was probably the best house I ever rented via booking.com - and I would use again without hesitation, when coming back to Azores. They advertise it as 15sqm - but it is over 100 square meters, with two almost identical bedrooms (one with its own, additional bathroom), a spacious living room, and a kitchen with everything in it we could need. It has a multi-function washing+drying machine - an extremely useful facility. Great internet connection - up to 0.5Gb/s. The house is located some 20 minutes drive from the airport / Ponta Delgada, in a place with a great micro-climate: even if it was raining all over the island, it was usually sunny in the local area. It is 1 km from the ocean (a nice walk downhill), and approx 1 km from the centre of the nearest village & a grocery store open 7 days/w (a nice, but steep uphill walk). Also a great spot for runners (if you don't mind elevation changes of 60m/km, and lack of pavements almost everywhere on the island).

Our group of 4 friends had a great time at the property. The hosts - Maria and Rodrigo, were very easy to communicate with and welcomed us with some local food specialties, which was very appreciated after our long trip. My friends and I have stayed in hundreds of houses all over the world and this one stands out as the best equipped one by far. There is everything you could ever need in a house in terms of equipment and consumables. We really felt at home and I recommend the place if you want to have a quiet and pleasant holiday while still being very close to the main city of Ponta Delgada. Furthermore, we travelled through the whole island and we could not find a nicer neighbourhood than Caloura so that's definitely the place you would like to be at.
