I loved everything about this stay, so much so that I extended my stay and then came back for two more days after exploring another area for a day. Marília is a wonderful host, and she delivers a beautiful breakfast basket every morning, filled with coffee, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and home baked goodies. The space was perfect for me, with a comfortable, firm bed, fabulous shower, super fast WiFi, a day bed that doubles as a couch, and a big table for writing/working. I didn't use the kitchen much, because there were excellent vegetarian options in Caminha (Cantina do Bem and Jeni's Diner). I will definitely be back! Thank you Marília! There a few things you can't tell from the photos: - The ceiling on the ground floor is relatively low. Tall people will have to watch the clearance. - Access to the spacious upstairs bedroom is by ladder rather than by stairs. I found it easy to navigate, but it could be difficult if you have mobility challenges. - The apartment is accessed by two sets of uneven stone steps. Again, it could be challenging if you're not fully mobile.

the grounds are spectacular: old growth eucalyptus, beautiful old well-maintained family country house. the guest house was clean and private. The host is a beautiful friendly gentleman who greeted us with warmth on our arrival and each morning at breakfast. His staff are also warm and friendly. it was very hard to leave and will be difficult to follow!

To start of Sandra was amazing, one of the sweetest people we’ve met. The house was in impeccable state and had everything we might need. The location was really nice as it was in a calm neighborhood but still super close to the center and everything else we might need.

The hosts were accommodating. We arrived quite late due to delayed flights and transport. However, the hosts waited for us until 3am to give us the keys. Really wonderful service. The amenities were all available and well maintained. We especially loved the pool and barbecue area for the whole family. I truly recommend visiting Avelie Casa Do Monte for an unforgettable break with your loved ones. I’ll be visiting again in no time.

The home gave us all the privacy we desired. Everything was comfortable. The swimming pool was an extra-added commodity we did not expect. the host and hostess were very hospitable. we would highly recommend this place.
