Mercedes with automatic drive. very nice owner! provided excellent advice and support. and the house itself is ideal for a couple's vacation! there is everything you need and even more.

We liked everything. Very nice house, beautifull decor, spacious living room, beautifull ocean view from upstairs. Great kitchen, we even got a portable barbecue up in the terrace The host was amazing, friendly and very nice. We want to go back in the summer, to swim in that delightfull ocean.

Fabulous spacious villa in a wonderful location. Jan was always welcoming, cheerful and helpful with many tips about local places to visit. The villa was spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped with good quality furnishings and finishings. Jan has taken great care in renovating the villa so it all feels new and a special treat to stay there for a holiday. The private pool and outdoor areas were perfect to relax in after a day walking in the hills. Supermarkets and restaurants are just a short walk away. We didn’t hire a car but used taxis and buses to get around. There is a bus stop 5 mins walk from the villa with buses into Funchal for 2 euros each way. There is also a taxi rank next to the bus stop. We also used the Bolt app which is like Uber. I would highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely return - we’re already missing waking up to views of the sea each morning. Thanks Jan for a wonderful holiday.

We spent an amazing week at the villa that is very well located - close to capital but quiet with many nearby attractions and levada walk. However I would recommend renting a car as the island has so many things to offer. Great place for families with kids as the big closed garden (~1000meters) and big heated (extra charge) pool. The house is fully equipped and nicely furnished. 4 separate bedrooms and a lot of space inside the house as well.

We travelled as a group of five friends to Madeira for the first time. The villa exceeded all of our expectations and we were very pleased to have booked this place. First of all, the view is magnificent, the photos just don't do it justice. The location is perfect - it is quiet and peaceful, yet not too far away from Funchal. Garajau itself also have many lovely restaurants and a bakery which we enjoyed getting fresh bread and pastel de natas from. The villa is right by Cristo Rei, which is a beautiful sunset and sunrise location, and also right near Garajau beach. The villa itself is just like the photos. The beds are comfortable, there is a lovely kitchen and seating area upstairs, and there are several balconies to sit and enjoy the view - we particularly enjoyed having breakfast and a coffee while watching the sunrise from the top balcony. On arrival we were greeted by Eva, who showed us the works of the villa and gave us many handy tips on how to get around the island and what places we should visit. Alex was also very helpful and easy to reach for any questions. The hosts are lovely and made sure we had the best possible stay while in Madeira. I would definitely come and stay here again, and have also recommended this place to family and friends considering travelling to Madeira. Thanks again Eva and Alex for a lovely stay!

A beautiful holiday home, spotlessly clean, just as good as it looks in the pictures. It had everything you could need, including a small barbecue and a hairdryer (not mentioned in the listing but very useful to have). The views are wonderful and the place itself is huge, and of course there is that fantastic private (but unheated) pool. We also much preferred Caniço to Funchal, it's a more peaceful, prettier location in my opinion. You do need a car really, the shops are a 5min drive but would be a pain to go on foot due to it being so hilly. The beach with the cable car nearby is lovely, the restaurant there is worth a visit for a drink at least.

We booked Casa Maravilha III for two weeks and enjoyed every day there. The view from the terrace and from both livingrooms is gorgeous, especially at sunrise. The house is modern, spacious and of high quality. The kitchen had everything what we expected and even more. The beds are a bit harder than those we are used to in Germany, but that was not a problem for us. We liked the good sized grill, the outdoor shower and the exotic fruits from the garden. The house is conveniently located near some good restaurants and supermarket. We felt like home and if we come back to Madeira we will book again Maravilha III. Many thanks to Miguel who made our stay so pleasant.

Good location with restaurant terrace on the cliff - beautiful! is just 10 min to the airport . Tasty breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. I can imagine staying there again.

The lovely diving center and windsurfing rental on the beach, next to the hotel. Cozy SPA, with pool, hammam, and sauna. Many free parking spaces around the hotel, so it's totally fine for people with cars. Some shops in 5 minutes from the hotel.
