This place is a Gem, the best welcome we ever had in all the travels , beautiful garden, the different houses are 1st class , we recommend this place for family reunion, even planning a wedding or baptism, because of the little Chapel from 1825. It’s only 15 mn ftrom Ponta Delgada Airport, easy drive to all of the Island. The hostess Ana , made a beautiful welcome basket, the place is worth the level of a 5stars hotel.

Gem of a place! We loved the house, the gardens and the facilities. The view of the ocean from the house was exceptional. The garden was unique and beautiful, the perfect place to relax after a day of hikes and tourist activities. The host was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and went out of her way to provide information and tourist activities. The house is a short drive from most Sao Miguel attractions. This is a very special place and our experience was unforgettable.

Ground floor one bedrrom, middle one bedroom , kitchen, garden and a huge living and dining room. Third floor 3 bedrooms. It is more a chateua than a house, the kitchen and living room are amazing with lots of china, glasses, evrything is very elegant. Garden and grill, banana trees outside. Great for a family gathering or a big group of friends like us. Small shop and cafe next door.

Great property that is away from the crowds in Punta Delgada but still very centrally located in Capelas. Carlos was very helpful and was available to answer any and all question. Everything was clean. The view from the bedroom was amazing. Highly recommend.

It is such an authentic place! The rooms are furnished with the very old and unique furniture. You can feel the vibe of the last century, and the old school Portugal interiors. They can seem a bit dark, and old, but actually that is all that matters. We had very nice terrace, with wrought-iron table, with trees in blossom, it was something very special. The breakfast was really good: fresh and tasty, with good coffee. The hosts were super lovely and ready to help if something was needed. The place is really worth visiting if you look for some authenticity and fond of agritourism format.

The remote controlled gated entry is a touch of luxury as is the driveway length koi pond. Loads of space inside and out. The pool was cold, though they had a hot tub which allowed cold swimming and then warming up after. I got quite addicted to my morning cold plunges! All the rooms have beautiful views and are enormous.

This is not for those who want extreme luxury or comfort. But those who are a bit flexible and have an adventurous spirit, will be more than satisfied! WE LOVED IT! Cozy, quiet and revealing this breathtaking landscape. I doubt there is better value for money on the island!
