the location was perfect, up a eucalyptus tree valley with amazing views down to the bottom of the valley. The host was extremely helpful when our car broke down and we had it returned the same evening. After exploring every day we returned to relax in the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful house.

Very warm welcome by the manager Carla. She was so generous, friendly and helpful- the best host you can hope for. She had the fireplace burning upon arrival at this beautiful and unique water mill house. There is also private pool and excellent barbecue facility in the spacious garden which is very well maintained. The whole experience was amazing and relaxing. We loved the house. It's located in a very quiet village about 25 minutes from Coimbra and close to the fabulous Roman ruins at Conimbraga. There are other excellent day trips in the area and all the roads are excellent. The house is beautiful and well equipped. It was chilly weather during our stay but the fireplace made it so warm snd cozy. Carla is very helpful - we all managed with Google translate! This is a wonderful stay.

We spent the afternoon relaxing on the terrace enjoying the atmosphere before climbing into a very comfortable bed for a great nights sleep.
