Built in 1750, the Ofenhaus was originally used for baking bread and is situated next to the owner's farm house 1 km from the centre of Murten. We loved staying at the quaint little ‘Ofenhaus’! It was everything we expected, based on the Booking.com description, and maybe even a bit better. :) The cleanliness was exemplary! I really am quite exacting concerning hygiene — and this place was literally spotless! The whole place smelt of fresh laundry when we walked in — it really doesn’t get any better than that! The water temperature and pressure in the shower are great! Since both my husband & I have long, luxurious hair, this is a crucial point for us. Many holidays have been ruined, alas, because of bad (cold, weak) showers — but not at the ‘Ofenhaus’! Everything works to perfection! The location is really quiet & calm, but the beautiful medieval town of Murten can be reached on foot (via a short walk of 1km). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book the ‘Ofenhaus’ again if we happened to stay in the area in the future!

Set in Châtillon, within 34 km of Forum Fribourg, Romantic Châlet with TOP Panorama offers accommodation with air conditioning. Our very comfortable little chalet looked out over beautiful Lake Neuchatel. The patio was large and well furnished, so we sat outside with our drinks watching the boats sailing on the lake. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a nice stay. Restaurants, groceries, and bakeries were just a short drive into the beautiful old town. Our hosts were kind and extremely gracious. We would be very happy to stay again!

Vam poder tenir les dues cases de costat i conviure amb els nostres amics, però tenint la privacitat de la nostra casa només tancant la porta que comunica les dues cases. El lloc és molt tranquil, a prop del llac caminant menys de 5 minuts. No hi ha més cases al voltant, pel que no hi ha quasi soroll. La casa és molt acollidora. La nevera és gran per quatre persones, tot i que potser faltarien fogons (només n'hi ha dos).
