High quality room with excellent English comms. We have just enjoyed 2 nights here during May 2022. Pros are: 1) Excellent communication with Ellie by wechat before and during the trip. She can arrange transport for you to Panlongshan section of the Wall for 100rmb round trip. Any questions you have she will promptly reply. 2) Watertown tickets (2) were included in the room price and the car to go there and pick you up later. Very convenient and saves you money! 3) Delicious breakfast especially French toast, fresh coffee. Fresh baked rolls..We ate breakfast in the adjoining breakfast room which is nicely furnished. 4) Ellie kindly upgraded my room.Comfortable room (four poster bed) with ensuite bath (powerful water tap in bath. Also large separate shower head).. Good quality toiletries. Bathrobes. Aircon /heater in room. Living room - adequate size but be aware that it's a shared living room amongst 3 rooms in the Villa. Luckily we were the only people staying there that weekend so had it to ourselves. 5) Excellent, helpful staff working there - Linan speaks English. 6) Relaxing seating area on the deck outside. A barbecue too but we didn't use it. 7) i put in a special request for a cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The lady there, I forgot her name, made a delicious cheesecake. Thank you. Cons No cons. Special notes. We visited during the covid testing period in Beijing and also when dine-in restaurants were prohibited. Please do not let that deter you from visiting because you can easily order takeaway food (staff will help you order it) and eat it in your Villa. Also you can do your 48 hour covid (NAT) test before you leave central Beijing and stay there 1 night and still get back to Beijing central. Hospitality venues like this Villa need tourists to visit so we should try and support them. We got the minibus from Watertown (departs 1200, 1700) to Dongzhimen Beijing cost 48 rmb per person NOTE you pay on the bus.

Hospitality and the room. Its a family run guesthouse, they help you buying the tickets for the great wall, they drive you up there. Dinner and breakfast was delicious, for sure chinese. They have a espresso machine, which I really appreciate😃

Situato a soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla Grande Muraglia di Badaling e a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Badaling, il Beijing Badaling Great Wall Cao's Courtyard Hostel occupa un edificio... Great Location, close to the China Great Wall main Entrance. David (our Host) was amazing, he speaks very good English and helped us with whatever we needed there. We enjoyed our Stay there and will stay definately once again with him. Room was clean and very cheap

Il Flower Yard offre sistemazioni climatizzate nel villaggio di Mutianyu. In loco troverete una sala per i giochi e un ristorante. Il WiFi è fruibile gratuitamente in tutte le aree. Stayed Flower Yard only for one night on May, but was charmed by the vibe and authenticity. The breakfast was so yum, Coffee was so good. .Room has all necessary stuff for staying. It's cozy, with traditional details in their Homestay. I love the room, it was very comfortable. Also you can learn Pottery class in their Homestay. Owners who Angel and Tony made it perfect for us to have the whole cultural experience. The Mutianyu Great Wall is close, the views were so fabulous. Angel helped us to book all tickets for Mutianyu Great Wall. Tony drave car from his Homestay to the Great Wall and pick up to his Homestay when we finished it. They were so hospitality. Thank you Angel and Tony. We will come back here again. Highly recommend Flower Yard.
