I myself am native Chinese from Hunan living in the Netherlands; this time I traveled together with my native Dutch partner who doesn't speak a word of Chinese, and he can communicate without worries with staff at Whispering Mountains. On another note, I don't think much communication is needed. Lucas and his colleagues proactively arrange pick-up, walking routes in the park that perfectly dodged the crowds, breakfast and dinner... I honestly didn't expect such high level of service which matches luxury hotels in Europe in a small part of China. Even in Changsha, the capital city of Hunan province, you wouldn't be able to find sth this level. I would recommend anyone who come to Zhangjiajie taking this hotel.
