Come with a friendly dog who went on trek with us! My kid said it was his best time in Costa Rica. Easy to drive and park the car in beautiful house. Very friendly host, who communicated on whatsapp on what to do. Eg breakfast tips etc No mosquito due to high altitude!

House had 2 balconies and 2 porches providing excellent birdwatching. Wendy is a very knowledgeable guide and provided excellent birding and night hikes.

Juan and Miguel super nice guys , very friendly and caring Great to have our 3 dogs with us , place is very safe for them Cabin is closed to downtown so food or any goods are really near Place closed to a nice river

La Cabaña para vacacionar se encuentra en Sarapiquí, en la región de Heredia, y ofrece balcón. Se encuentra a 6 km de la estación biológica de La Selva. We had a lovely week-long stay. This cabin is very unique. It is a log cabin just off the main road in Sarapiquí, right beside the river that is constantly busy with passing rafts and kayaks. There are two bedrooms and an extra airbed upstairs. The place has a well equipped kitchen, there is limited counter space for cooking but that's a small thing. There is a washer and clothes line outside that you can use. Geovany even brought a large desk and office chair in one of the bedrooms during our stay which was awesome! For anyone working, the WiFi is the best we've had in all of Costa Rica. It's super fast and good for video calls. The upstairs is super cool! It's totally open, more than I expected, but we loved that! It felt like we were in a treehouse. During thunderstorms it's especially great. There is a big tv up there so we spent a lot of time up there in the evenings to relax. Of course some creatures come in, mainly just some flies and moths. It was totally fine actually. The floors are definitely treated here because we never got ants of anything crawling in like that. Geovany also visited during our visit and did a full clean, changing sheets, towels etc. it was great.
