Featuring a garden and views of quiet street, Casa Pau is a recently renovated country house located in Santa Maria, 200 metres from Praia António Sousa. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom and balcony were both nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Tortuga Beach Villa is situated in Santa Maria and features a private pool and pool views. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. The villa is settled in a perfect location just 3 minutes walk from the best beach on the island, named Ponta Preta. It is located in a very nice calm resort with swimming pools and bars which gives you a lot of options for your stay. The nearby town of Santa Maria is just 10 minutes taxi ride. Beside that, there is a 24h security in the resort although the island itself is very safe and peacefull. Inside, it has 3 comfortable sleeping rooms, large living room with a kitchen equiped with a dish washer and a washing machine, huge balcony and a very nice garden with a small private pool, sunbeds and a table. One of the best things is that each room has its own separate bath which makes it very convinient if you are staying more people. The furniture is modern and all the home appliances are brand new. A very big plus is that you get your bath towels, beach towels and bed linens changed after 5 days. On top of everything, the owner JC, is the best host you can imagine. He was available all the time and gave us valuable advices and contacts regarding island tours, taxis, etc. All in all you can not wish for more if you're destination is Sal Island.

This is a lovely villa in a fabulous location, with its own pool as well as the use of the main hotel pools and other facilities. The beaches were beautiful and also surprisingly quiet; the sea was a bit rough sometimes but our three boys loved it - close supervision required though! The pools and sea were warm enough when we stayed. We opted to stay self catering; Andrew was very helpful with the location of the best supermarket where we stocked up on everything we needed for the villa; and he also gave us some great restaurant recommendations in Santa Maria. The hotel didn’t seem that busy even though it was Easter school holidays, though we didn’t eat in any of the hotel restaurants as there were so many great ones in Santa Maria. Taxis into Santa Maria were easily arranged when we didn’t want to make the 45 minute walk there.

Free WiFi is available at the reception . cleanliness, no stress, the pool cleaners from Guinea-Bissau were lovely guys we are keeping touch on Facebook, the air con worked great, the sun lying by the pool, the pool cold but I jumped in many times as it’s good for you. I can tell it’s English owned and loved the Cornwall feel to it, the surfboard, the crockery, the kettle was great, I even did laundry there. the security of a 5 star resort but private villas. loved it! will be back!

Ohh not sure we're to start . The location is literally few minutes walk from beach. The villa it self is very comfortable and lovely. And you have your own private pool, however if you wish to enjoy bigger pool there is couple more at the complex. Lovey service from start to finish, Magdalena organise the airport pick up ( suggested taxi drivers Edi and Luis was also so helpful, we also used they service tho our holidays). She was reachable if we needed.
