The Katakis family were very gracious and generous hosts and organised car hire for us as well as allowed an early check in. The welcome treats were an added bonus. Clean, modern, air conditioning. It has everything for cooking, if you want to cook, we didn’t. Everything is good quality! Beds are comfortable, Wi-Fi is good quality, TVs are smart with access to Netflix, Amazon etc. Close to the property are few tavernas with good food: Pixida, Maria Beach , Sunset. Falassarna Beach is about 15 min drive and is beautiful, we found there Taverna Vassilis Falasarna with very tasty food. Chania is about 40 min drive, nice city to visit especially the Old Port. Monasteries, caves to visit are in the area.

The apartments are spacious, well furnished and super clean. The pool and the garden are awesome and the whole atmosphere of the place is very peaceful. The breakfast was fantastic!

This newly built complex consists of 6 detached three-bedroom villas with private swimming pools is located just in front of the beach in Platanes resort in Rethymno. Balíon is 23 km from the... This apartment was amazing! The private pool was much bigger than we thought it would be. The beach is just a quick 1-minute walk down the driveway, and - bonus - we had two beach chairs and an umbrella included with our stay. The beach itself was sandy and great for our kids to play on. There was a bar/snack place on the beach also. The apartment had a nice coffee machine, a roomy refrigerator, and most of the kitchen supplies/utensils that we needed. The air conditioning worked very well and was very welcome during the hot afternoons. We always felt safe walking to and from the place, there are several good restaurants and a well-stocked grocery store right up the street. We would definitely stay here again!
