This is a beautiful property and without doubt the most luxurious and well maintained property in the area. It is an escape from the busy market town, somewhere to just relax after a day exploring. We were delighted to find such a large well appointed and luxurious villa with great staff. The owner was able to accommodate a request for breakfast and organise dinners for us also (at extra cost) which was great. This property very much has an international feel to it in the way they look after you. We had not planned to spend so much time in the villa but it was so good we spend more time in than out.

The room was very comfortable and the location was excellent. The breakfast was great and the people were so helpful and friendly. Very well organized, Dedy Cool letting us know in advance the distance from the airport and helping with getting to the hotel. We did the one day tour and it was provided by fantastic tour guides who were extremely knowledgeable about the rainforest and Orangutangs. We would highly recommend.

Offering a peaceful retreat amidst natural greenery, Horas Family Home is located in Tuk Tuk area on Samosir Island. Guests enjoy a direct access to Lake Toba and free WiFi. Everything, starting from the friendly atmosphere of a family run hotel with many facilities and activities for the guests. We lived in a wonderful apartment: clean, well furnished, ample and comfortable. We did not use the kitchen facilities that were available and exploited instead the very attractive and satisfactory meal options provided by the structure itself. In a word, we have been coddled for the whole length of our stay. Should we come back to lake Toba (which we hope) this will be the first address to look for.

Situated on the seafront in Bukit Lawang and boasting a garden, Lucky Bamboo' Bungalows-Resto and OrangUtan Jungle Trekking Tours has free WiFi. The property has river and garden views. Everything was lovely. The ubication of the hotel fantastic, the rooms and food really nice. And the owner jonny and all the staff wonderfull people, triying to help you in everything and making you feel like at home. We also made the jungle trekking with them, and was, as well, incredible. Our guide Rasta was the Best, very professional, cheerfull and funny guy, making the adventure an unforgetable experience. Totally recomended.

Situated in Bukit Lawang in the Sumatra region, Riverside Nature Bungalow - Namo Samsah Jungle Paradise has a balcony and mountain views. I really liked it in Tirta's bungalow. Such a quiet place, lots of nature around it and a wonderful view. Only one thing could top that...Tirta and his tours. He showed me the jungle of Sumatra up close with all its wonderful animals. The 2nd special tour was also adventurous, we went with the cross over hill and dale to an elephant sancury. Tirta is a great and pleasant person. The most important thing for him is the well-being of his guests. You notice that immediately.
