We had a great time here. We were looking for a place for the 5 of us to stay for two weeks over Christmas and this was perfect. Mary & Bridie could not have been nicer, the house was so warm and cosy. They had a fire lit for us every morning we got up! The rooms were perfectly clean and spotless as everything is brand new. Beds were very comfortable with lovely warm duvets. Would highly recommend.

Featuring a garden and views of lake, Castlehamilton Cottages and Activity Centre is a holiday home situated in a historic building in Cavan, 8.8 km from Drumlane Abbey. We loved the games room and the walks on the grounds. Being able to hire a boat for a trip to a nearby island was an added bonus and Alan was very accommodating with times etc.

Very clean. Everything you need for a self catering stay. Thoughtful host provided a welcome hamper. Host was available for any questions or emergencies by text but also respected our privacy. Within walking distance of town. Nice forest walks close by. Very quiet and peaceful.

We went for the bank holiday weekend to disconnect from a busy city and it was so worth it! The place is lovely, quiet, charming. The house is huge, clean, beds are very comfortable with new mattresses, the house was warm and it had lots of facilities. It´s a lovely place if you want to disconnect from busy cities and connect with nature and have some quiet and peaceful time. The hosts were lovely and always available. We will definitely come back in the future.
