Tudor Lodge is a comfortable, unpretentious facility, with a spacious lawn and a lovely view out over the countryside. The room was a decent size. The kitchen area is well equipped. Breakfast was continental style: croissants, soda bread, cereal, fruit, yoghurt etc., often a better choice for travellers than the full Irish fry-up. We were in Bunratty just for a night, meeting overseas visitors for the Medieval Banquet at Bunratty, and for this it was perfect.
Great accommodation, a really nice place for a break away. The Sauna, and hot tub were excellent. Tricia was a great host. Really enjoyed the weekend.
Very comfortable cottage either excellent facilities. We loved the fire too, perfect for a cosy break away.
Beautiful old stone cottage with an authentic interior, but has everything you could possibly need. And the views are amazing
Beautiful cottage in a quiet idyllic location, cottage was so peaceful, spacious and clean with everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Charlie the owner is fab and has done a great job on the cottage. Its in a great location for visiting The Burren and Bunratty Castle and there are shops and pubs a few minutes drive from property where you can get everything you need.
Very cosy cottage with everything we needed. Fresh eggs was a lovely surprise. The view of Lough Derg is amazing.
Loved the lodges and even in the miserable weather it was nice to just sit inside and relax with the lovely facilities, rooms were nice and cosy. The people also couldn't have been more accommodating, as a man from sligo I will most certainly be visiting Clare again.
A lovely remote place with the most relaxing sounds of horses and birds and very friendly dogs, uninterrupted by any city noise. Impressive country house. Clean, very cosy room and a bathroom alike with some upcycled rustic bits which l liked the most. A kettle in the room, so you can have a tea whenever without bothering anyone, very handy. Linda the host is full of care.
Location was fantastic, lovely little cottage stay with some lovely extras, everything you want from a property that is self catering.
We met one of the owners, Dolores, the day after our stay for breakfast, she was very welcoming and she prepared an amazing hot breakfast, together with the buffet one that was impressive! It was possible for us to go for self-check in (since we arrived quite late). Room was cosy and comfy, clean, with ensuite bathroom with all necessary facilities. WiFi was available and worked quite well. Location was stunning, a bit outside Limerick but in an azing countryside scenary.
