We headed to Heidi for a night stay after 2 days of snow activities at Vivaldi Park . It was very nice of Mr Lee to pick us from our Vivaldi Park accommodation to Heidi. However, due to the extreme snowfall on that particular day, the typical 20 min to-and-fro drive became 3 hours in total for Mr Lee but he was patient and at all smiles throughout. Mr Lee also sent us to a nearby supermarket later in the day to buy some food for our BBQ. Heidi itself is a lodge-like accommodation which provided urbanites like us a whole different experience . The room was clean, spacious, warmly heated with a little kitchenette. We especially enjoyed the warm hospitality of the owners (Mr and Mrs Lee), the BBQ over brick-stove and charcoal as well as having our meals in the naturally firewood heated dining place . Thank you for sharing with us your lovely homemade Kimchi and drinks , roasted sweet potatoes, tangerine , etc. Got acquainted with a friendly couple from HK too! Happy New Year and we hope to be back to Heidi again !

Terrace on the Cloud ligt in Daegwallyeong en biedt accommodaties met eigen kookgelegenheid, een terras en gratis WiFi. Er wordt elke ochtend een continentaal ontbijt geserveerd in het vakantiehuis. Howard the host made our stay very pleasant, there is nothing that he would not do to help us. I felt sorry for our friends that paid twice as much as us to stay at the resort and miss out experience that Howard was able to gave us.

Yangyang Ocean Stay, een accommodatie met een tuin, een restaurant en een privéstrand, ligt in Yangyang, op 13 minuten lopen van Ingu Beach, 2,3 km van Zangyo Beach, en 29 km van Haven van Daepo. The apartment was nice with a beautiful view of the beach right across the street. There were a few things to do within walking distance and in the town nearby. Clean and had all the essentials needed for a short or long term stay. We really enjoyed our stay!

It’s a truly amazing place - very calm, between mountains and a river. The owners are fantastic - they care about everything and help with all queries. Everything was prepared beforehand for us. The apartment is very spacious, with lots of additional futons if needed. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are lots of useful utensils for babies/children. The heating worked very well. The owner speaks English and gives tips for surroundings. Our appartement had its own barbecue booth and the owner prepared charcoal so we had a wonderful dinner. There is an indoor playground, trampoline, two wooden swings, bikes and toys for children. I can imagine the place is also gorgeous during the summer time - with a swimming pool and a very nice outdoor. Definitely recommend this to anyone searching for little country side in Korea.

Grace River House-Block B beschikt over uitzicht op de bergen, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een balkon, op ongeveer 12 km van Cheongwoo Golf Club. Perfect location with great vieuw on the river. Very comfortable house with large living and plenty balconies. The house was very clean and roomy. The host is very kind and does everything to make the stay easy and pleasurable.

Magenta in Donghae ligt op 2,6 km van het Daejin-strand en op 2 km van de centrale markt Donghae. Het beschikt over accommodatie met airconditioning, uitzicht op de zee en gratis WiFi. Firstly, I stayed in the Martin room and the ocean view was magnificent. It was on the third floor and really clean. I liked that there was a cafe on the first floor. I think it was an excellent business idea. They had my favorite coffee “cold brew”. ❤️
