Sujeevani Villa ligt op 500 meter van het Negombo-strandpark. De villa biedt een balkon met uitzicht op de tuin, een buitenzwembad om baantjes te trekken en gratis parkeergelegenheid. Loved my peaceful two night stay at the Villa. Greeted with a warm smile and fresh juice by owner Milan upon my arrival. The room had the AC already turned on so it was nice and cool immediately. Huge, very clean room with all the amenities: fridge, chairs, desk, bottled water, pool towels, hair dryer, TV, etc. The pool and the relaxing area around it was lovely - not only very clean but also lots of birds flying in the garden in the early evening. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in my 4 weeks in Sri Lanka - huge fruit plate followed by eggs and even French toast. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect once we settled into the Lagoon Suite with views over the lagoon and expansive living area. Our host, Jay the resort manager was a terrific person who made sure everything went smoothly including a tour around the property where we met the owners Rolf and Indira and engaged in great conversation before being introduced to Thimble and meeting the craftswomen hard at work. The staff at the resort were wonderful and provided service second to none and really made us feel like family. The food was exceptional, so much so that we ended up eating all our meals from breakfast through dinner exclusively at the resort. The gin and tonics using local gin were terrific and the only regret is we completely forgot to try the local arrack despite promising to do so. Next time. There are various areas to have meals throughout the resort with the overall feeling of privacy coupled with openness. We typically ate breakfast facing the lagoon in the area below the room, and often dinner at tables closer to the pool - there was no shortage of choice depending on the mood and ambience needed. Food choices range from western to local, and all were true to expectations with the local cuisine being wonderfully authentic. On our final day we used the Spa for a 3 hour treatment followed up with local cuisines - what a wonderful experience and recommended as a 'must do' for anyone staying multiple days. As a memory of our stay we bought a wonderful wall tapestry designed and created by the artisans at Thimble and this will feature in a prominent position in our house in the future. Overall the most relaxing environment we stayed at in Sri Lanka for our final few days and we are already looking forward to returning. Recommendation for anyone interested is to stay at least 2 nights, slow down, relax, and enjoy the offerings.

Very beautiful place, Daniyel is a super nice and supportive host. The beds are very comfortable, we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We were happy that we chose this place as our last accommodation before flying home.

The B'Fast was an English one since we ordered that with lots of fresh juices. It was a very tasty meal. Superb location too.

Bee Cottage Negombo is gelegen in Negombo, op 2,9 km van Negombo Beach en 16 minuten lopen van St Anthony's Church, en biedt gratis WiFi en airconditioning. De accommodatie was van alles voorzien. Ruim en schoon! Er was een zwembad, maar daar hebben we helaas geen gebruik van kunnen maken omdat we er te kort waren. Er waren twee slaapkamers en twee badkamers, waaronder een moderne buitenbadkamer. De tuin stond vol fruit- en groentebomen en er waren grote schildpadden. Ook stonden er drie fietsen waarmee we naar het strand zijn gefietst. De gastheer en -vrouw waren supervriendelijk en zorgzaam, ze hebben ons tegen middernacht van het vliegveld opgehaald en het ontbijt zelfs aangepast omdat mijn vriendin niet helemaal fit was. Ze spreken allebei erg goed Engels en met de gastvrouw hebben we een tijd gekletst over van alles en nog wat. We hopen hen in de toekomst in ons land te mogen verwelkomen.

The Anchorage Villa - Negombo is gelegen in Negombo, op 17 minuten lopen van Wellaweediya Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een barbecue, gratis WiFi, roomservice, en een 24-uursreceptie. Highly recommended this place. Worth for money. Very clean. Superb communication and support. If you wanna visit Negambo and stay in peace for a while. Then go to this place ❤️

Star Canal Cottage bevindt zich in Negombo, op 4 minuten lopen van Wellaweediya Beach en 2,8 km van Negombo Beach, en heeft een terras en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. My partner and I had the best stay at Star Canal Cottage. After receiving a great tuk tuk tour around Negombo from Leon at the start of our trip, we stayed at his guesthouse before our departure too due to his friendliness and consideration. Our room very clean, spacious and light, with a powerful hot shower in the bathroom. The location is great, close to the city centre with restaurants nearby, but down a quiet canal road to enjoy the peace. We read and listened to the birds on the terrace during the day, while drinking home made lime juice before an excellent dinner of home-made prawns from Leon. A wonderfully kind, funny, and diligent host (and now friend), we will recommend Star Canal Cottage to anyone wishing to visit Sri Lanka :)

Villa Lagoonscape heeft uitzicht op het zwembad, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad en een balkon, op ongeveer 11 km van St Anthony's Church. Location was stunning and food was awesome . Loved it ! We will definitely come again. The staff treated us very well and they were really obliging when we had service requests. Highly recommended for family time.

Bliss Beach bevindt zich in Negombo, op 38 km van R Premadasa Stadium en 40 km van Khan Clock Tower, en biedt een terras en airconditioning. It was a lovely property nestled in its own land with a lovely garden. The property itself had easy check and Morgan, our caretaker, was very kind and attentive to our needs and privacy. It overlooks the beachfront and has a lovely view from the 2nd floor. They had arranged us a nice bench with a table for us to sit on and enjoy our meals with. Hot water was great too. You cannot swim on the beach although a short walk away, you are greeted with lovely views. The staircase and roof area needs a little work which they had promised to finish. All in all, a lovely experience. Thank you Sherwin!
