Tony was the most helpful person, couldn't do enough for us. Very welcoming staff. Really enjoyed our visit here. Very peaceful and quiet place with entrance to the beach.

Set in Beruwala, near Moragalla Beach and Bentota Beach, Ceylon Serenity Villa is a recently renovated property, featuring, free bikes and garden. This property is exceptional, but better than the property are the host and his wife. It is a 7 min walk to a beautiful clean beach. 3 - 5 mins by tuk tuk to the city centre and various ayurveda centres, money exchange, pier88 (fantastic restaurant on the river). A tuk tuk to the city centre and back is approx 300 slr. You can stop by at keels for your groceries. Turtle hatcheries, water sports at some of the. Upmarket resorts, river safaries are all with a 10 min ride. You must stay at this property. Situated in Kalutara and only 41 km from Bambalapitiya Railway Station, Muthu Villa Sri Lanka features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Super friendly and very accommodating host. It was an honor to stay at the host’s family home. It was peaceful. WiFi worked good. We were served coconuts from the garden before our departure.

Happy Nest, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is situated in Talagala, 29 km from Bambalapitiya Railway Station, 35 km from Khan Clock Tower, as well as 38 km from R Premadasa Stadium. It's a beautiful home, just like its name. The owner was so kind to wait so late for my arrival, and she kept bread 1 loaf and all other essentials. She came the next morning and helped with the checkout. The verandah is also the inside, so comfy, just like being at home. It's a bit far from Colombo, but it's worth the trouble. Recommend to try this place if in Colombo. A very pleasant natured lady and full of kindness.

Situated in Pelawatta and with Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery reachable within 43 km, Singharaja Garden AGRO ECO Lodge features pool with a view, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi and a garden. The experience was one of a kind and we can more than highly recommend this amazing lodge. It was our first encounter with SriLanka and the German owners Edna and Alli made us feel home immediately and within no time we felt a deep sense of location and understanding of the lush environment. The lodge is based on true passion and it shows. In the people and community, the amazing local vegetarian food, the comfortable accommodation and all the activities we were able to engage in at the spur of the moment. Hiking through the rainforest and vegetation of the lodge, tasting directly from a cinnamon plant and watching pepper grow, meeting locals as they carry down the harvested tea leaves, a sunrise bike tour through hidden villages, another sunrise canyoning trip down a deserted river with the occasional local fetching sand from the river bottom, then an aryuveda massage and morning and evening aerial or hatha yoga lessons again right at the property. We felt truly part of the family and have been able to experience so much in four days. Thank you Edna and Alli for sharing your amazing life with us. We will be back and will recommend your lodge to everyone.

Set in Bandaragama, MyHoliday Home @ Bandaragama offers accommodation with a private pool, a balcony and lake views. We had a quality time in this beautiful villa. The house is spacious with all comforts one would need. The garden, sit-out areas, the pool and the lake are real highlights. Top this up with delicious meals from the celebrity chef Chandana. House staff, Gajan and Kabi were very kind and made sure that we had good time. Thanks also to Leon for his support.

Offering a garden and sea view, Kuma Beach side Villa is situated in Wadduwa, 100 metres from Wadduwa Beach and 28 km from Bambalapitiya Railway Station. Wonderful family-run guesthouse. Though the host's English was limited, we had no problem communicating and he and his family were extremely accommodating. AC worked well and the unit is quite large. Excellent value for the price.

Boasting garden views, Pasidu Villa provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 90 metres from Waskaduwa Beach. Great big house. The house has everything you need: TV, washing machine, iron, blender, hot water, WiFi. Three minutes to the beach on foot. A very friendly and helpful family owns the house. Thank you for everything.
