Vianden is at 3 km distance from the property, which is home to several populair landmarks such as Vianden Castle. The location was perfect. Close to the river and several hiking trails. We walked to the nearby town of Vianden and visited the castle, and we also walked across the nearby bridge to Germany and hiked to a castle on that side of the river. It was beautiful and peaceful!

The Vianden Cottage - Charming Cottage in the Forest has a patio and is situated in Vianden, within just 1 km of Vianden Chairlift and 1 km of Victor Hugo Museum. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The property features barbecue facilities and outdoor furniture. The location of the cottage is beautiful. On the hill overlooking Vianden only a 15 minute walk from the city center (a walk which initially looks more steep and challenging then it actually is) The cottage is very well equipped and was very clean. Although the location is slightly remote, it was very easy to find. The owner is very pleasant and friendly. If you want to go and explore Vianden and it's surroundings for a few days, We would definitely recommend staying at the Vianden cottage.

Our house was clean and the facilities in the house were good. We went for a motorcycle trip and this house is a great place to stay overnight. The cost are oke and not expensive. Please note that electricity must be payed afterwards. There is a bakery not very far from the house which is really convenient.

There are many interesting places to visit close at hand. The nearest decent supermarket is about 20 minutes by car.
