Candeias do Souto ligt in Bragança in de regio Norte, op 9 km van het kasteel van Braganca. Het biedt een terras en uitzicht op de bergen. Voor een drankje kunt u terecht in de eigen bar. Comfortabel, rustig gelegen hotel, 15 min van Bragança. Zeer persoonlijke ontvangst, mooi gerestaureerde boerderij met aandacht voor detail. Fijne bedden, lekker ontbijt met homemade jam en cake. Mooie omgeving voor wandelingen in de buurt.

Het familiehotel Quinta De La Rosa is gevestigd op het terrein van een wijnmakerij, aan de rechteroever van de rivier de Douro. De accommodatie ligt op 2 km afstand van Pinhão. Everything. Wine tasting and tour was exceptional. The guide was very informed and pleasant. My meal that evening was one of the best I've had in a Portugal since arriving two weeks ago. Huge compliments to the chef. The waiting staff were very efficient and friendly.

Het Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food biedt uitzicht op de schilderachtige riviervallei van de Douro. Het is gevestigd in een historisch landhuis en omringd met een tuin en... Our host was amazing, friendly and generous with drink and food and friendship. I loved the sweet cherry tree and views of the vineyards.

Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism bevindt zich in Provesende, op 13 km van Natur Waterpark en 37 km van Museu do Douro. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi, airconditioning, een buitenzwembad en een tuin. It was simply beautiful, we had the pool view room though I have to say the pool, though lovely, was the last thing your eyes feasted on, the views over the mountains and vineyards being exceptional. Pulling the window blinds up in the room took your breath away. Spotlessly clean, fresh and airy. Maria was amazing, very knowledgeable and freely giving of the interesting family history and arranged restaurants and taxis for us which was most helpful. We obviously had to sample the wine and port, again very good, the White Reserva being most excellent, so much so we had to buy some to take home to add to our collection (if it gets there!). The small but perfectly pared nibbles with the wine and port were very naughty but nice. We would definitely stay again and would certainly fully recommend anyone to visit as a must do, great place for all the great Douro river and port wine activities in a peaceful environment. The village is great too. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Quinta de Travassinhos is a magical place in the Douro Valley with beautiful views, outstanding ambiance and exceptional hospitality. Helena & Ricardo have painstakingly restored and renovated the property into something rare and special where modern amenities and comfort meet the beauty of a working farm and vineyard. Their kindness and attention to customer service is world class, and is matched by their knowledge of the history of the area and willingness to share the stories of their journey to create their dream. While my partner and I were there, we enjoyed morning hikes through the vineyards, daily trips to regional towns, afternoon dips in the indoor salt water spa pool, and evening dinners where our hosts and staff provided upscale-rustic regional cuisine, local wines and port, and wonderful conversation with both hosts and guests. This will be somewhere we will hopefully be able to revisit in the coming years as it truly is one of our favourites of all time!

Casa do Castelo II bevindt zich in Bragança. De accommodatie ligt op 2 minuten lopen van Castelo de Bragança en biedt gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. It was extremely clean and nicely decorated. It was in a great location, close to everything.

Casas da Serra - Soeima Housing bevindt zich in Alfândega da Fé, op 32 km van Middeleeuwse Brug van Mirandela en biedt accommodatie met airconditioning, gratis WiFi, en toegang tot een buitenzwembad... We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

Casa da Barriada II ligt in Bragança, op slechts 13 km van Castelo de Bragança, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. This is a fantastic place, especially if you have ever wanted to stay in a peaceful, beautiful Portuguese village. The owners have perfectly refurbished several old houses with modern conveniences for a very comfortable stay. The owners were so friendly and helpful. We would stay here again in a heart-beat.

Quinta da Menina Guest House bevindt zich in Vila Real, op 22 km van Natur Waterpark en 35 km van Museu do Douro. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi, airconditioning, een buitenzwembad en een tuin. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen tot ons vertrek hebben we ons thuis gevoeld. Paolo is de allerbeste gastheer die je je kunt wensen! De kamers zijn heerlijk fris en groot en schoon. We zouden heel graag nog eens terugkomen!
