I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

The country house offers an outdoor pool. Cottage Lenise has a barbecue and a garden. The accommodation is clean, everything you need is available. It’s private and we have really enjoyed our stay. The hosts are fantastic. The sunsets are amazing here.We will definitely come back again. Our kids enjoyed every moment.

This chalet provides air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The accommodation was one of the nicest on our trip to South Africa. The chalet was very large and the kitchen was very well equipped. The bathroom had a large shower. Everything was very clean. Our chalet had a very nice and above all quiet outdoor area, which we used for breakfast and also in the evening. From time to time the owners' dogs came by and visited us. The hosts were very nice and always asked via WhatsApp if everything was ok. This chalet exceeded our expectations and we would book there again in a heartbeat.

Each guest chalet is cozy and comes with secured parking. The chalets include a fully equipped kitchenette, a living area with a TV and fireplace. The bedrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. Guests can relax on their private patio. It was our 3rd time staying here. Always great, even better this time with the outdoor pool (we didn’t use as it was winter) and other renovations. Summerset Place Country House is set against the foot of the Waterberg and adjacent to a private game reserve. The country house has a swimming pool and is situated just 3 km away from the town centre of Bela Bela. super quiet and tranquil location, brilliant staff that couldn’t have done enough to help, a excellent little place

Marula Cottage is a 10-minute drive from Thabazimbi in the Limpopo Province. The thatched farmhouse offers views of the Waterberg Mountains and is situated 7 km from the Marakele National Park.

Breakfast is served daily at Marula Cottage and dinners can be arranged on request. A few restaurants can be found within 10 km from the property. Barbecue facilities are available. It was a beautiful location. The owners were friendly, accommodating, and knowledgable about the area. It was a perfect spot, close to the national park in beautiful nature.
