Tir y Coed Country House is a haven of peace and tranquillity, nestled in over an acre of mature landscaped gardens. This was a great location for our two nights in Conwy. Our room was very comfortable; the bathroom had high-end conveniences that we weren't expecting. The gardens were absolutely beautiful; we wish we'd planned for some time to sit on the veranda and enjoy the birds and flowers. We had a flat tire on our rental car while we were in Anglesey an hour away. Sandra was so helpful in advising us while we rearranged our plans so we could pick up another rental. She even called a taxi for us to get to the train station. The breakfasts were delicious, perfectly cooked with generous portions -- a great way to start a full day of adventures.

Housed in a historic building, The Old Smithy offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi in Trefriw, 25 km from Llandudno Pier. I loved the peace and quiet of the place. The shower was excellent and the whole bathroom was impeccably cleaned, as was the rest of the space.

Located just 3 miles from Conwy, Glyn Isa Country House B&B and self catering Lodge is set in family home, dating from the 17th century, within 10 acres of private land and gardens. A perfect very stylish self-catering little cottage. Well equipped within very private grounds in the middle of the country side. Excellent location for daytrips and walks in North Wales. In the small village of Rowen 1 mile away there is also a very nice Pub. Highly recommended.

Situated on the outskirts of the magnificent Snowdonia National Park, Maenan Abbey Hotel stands on the site of an original thirteenth-century Cistercian monastery. Booked rather on a short notice, but totally enjoyed! The atmosphere is like a little bit medieval in a good way, we enjoyed a lot a dinner - such a fast serving and tasty dishes, cocktails in the lounge! Great stuff, very friendly and helpful!
