Access is via the private gated entrance and guests have free parking in a private car park. It was lovely and peaceful. We had a large room overlooking the gardens. The room was lovely and warm and there was a modern walk in on suite wet-room. The breakfast was fantastic and we needed a walk around the grounds to work it off. It was great to have free access to the castle and to be able to walk around the grounds before and after the day visitors arrived and left. The staff in the hotel and grounds were lovely and helpful.

A large, curved, white leather sofa features in the guest lounge area, which also has a flat-screen TV. Fantastic location, exceeded our expectations. Beautiful river running along the gardens. The air conditioning was a godsend on a hot weekend, and the cooked breakfast was great. High chance we will be back at some point

Absolutely beautiful building/accommodation, set in a lovely estate that has everything you coulld possibly need. The whole experience felt cosy, clean and relaxing. The beds were super comfy, the living space was pleasant, but the biggest highlight was the hot tub! Exactly what myself and my family (and doggies!) needed out of a mini-break away for my Dad's 60th Birthday. The hosts themselves were lovely and attentive. The young gentlemen in particular who showed us to the accommodation was most helpful and welcoming. And thank you so much to the gentlemen (I think, Ian?) who came round on our last evening to let us know that no one was checking in next day and we could take our time in the morning :) definitely didn't want to leave!
