The owner, Elodie, met us upon arrival and accommodated our special requests. She truly made us feel welcome and a valued client. The hotel was so quaint and inviting, from the period decor to the flowers to the individual butter cups at breakfast. The rooms were very clean and had everything, at no extra cost!

Hotel New Regina was in an excellent location, the staff were warm and helpful and the breakfast was good. Although it was small, the room was very pleasant - it was very clean, light filled and comfortable. It was also nice to have a kettle in our room and a lift in the building. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Ypres has something for everyone. The restaurants have a variety of culinary options for every taste. Bars are friendly and comfortable with indoor and outdoor seating for drinks, a coffee, snacks or meals. Bicycles for hire mechanical or electric allow a visitor access to the countryside free from traffic and ease of viewing around the town. Tourist information in the Cloth Hall are very helpful and friendly. The historical buildings and the green environment really add towards an air of peace. A special treat is a walk along the town walls. Parking in the Market Square is not a problem nor overnight parking either. Shopping is a delight with supermarket, chocolate, books, fair trade and clothing all within walking distance of the Square. If Commemoration is part of your visit the Menin Gate Last Post ceremony each evening at 8 p.m. is very moving and an experience different from all others. Ypres is a gateway to Flanders: its people, its green environment, cycle paths, surrounding historical monuments with visitor centres throughout the countryside and its delicious foods.

We were a group of friends, we visited local war graves and stayed for the Last Post at the Menin Gate, which was well done and very respectful (although you need to get there at least 1 hour before the service to see anything). We do intend to visit again to explore the region further.

Ieper (Ypres) is an ideal base for exploring WW1 sites & cemetaries. The historic Cloth Hall contains an impressive museum and if you go it's worth paying the extra few euros to climb the 230 steps to the top of the bell tower. The views of the city are impressive from here.
The Last Post Ceremony every night at 8 pm is a moving and thought provoking tribute. It's a must if you can make it.

Ieper holds a horrendous history when it comes down to the tragic loss of life.
But on the other hand it has a sense of peace when you walk around.
The battles took place 108 years ago, so its good that there are still preserved sites to visit that this is never forgotten.

Ypres is a wonderful experience.
Ypres is a wonderful experience. Visit Menin Gate at 8pm each evening and hear the last post played for the fallen of the Great War.
On a Monday most shops and all restaurants and museums are closed.
Location. Street parking just outside for two motorcycles. There is a car park near by but the closer the better when on a motorbike. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. The coffee machine, biscuit's and fruit bowl were nice little extras, made all the difference to the welcome. Our twin room was spacious enough and the bathroom was very clean.
Breakfast was very good with the usual continental meats, cheese, eggs, cereals and more. Easy walking distance to the centre and Menin gate.
Wonderful, welcoming staff. You can tell this is a family run hotel, the owners really look after you and are always open to a chat over a very lovely included breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean and we had use of a coffee machine and vending machine with wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks throughout. Perfect location to explore Ypres and beyond from a quiet location.
Excellent hotel with very friendly staff..a home from home. Location very good with access to the square and Menin Gate and all Ypres facilities being very close.
A surprise to have found it after 3 previous stays at the Novotel - Ypres, this has so much more character. (The Novotel is still good)
Parking excellent for a big car (Porsche), plenty of space and safe!
Location was absolutely brilliant a short walk to the centre.
Property was to a very high spec and our stay was fantastic.
We were met on arrival to a delightful host who gave a tour and told us about the area.
Free parking in the Square nearby opposite the hotel.
Absolutely loved Ypres and will definitely return and hopefully to this place.
Beautiful hotel set in a tranquil garden, about 12 minutes drive from Ypres market square and the Menin Gate. Clean, comfortable with lovely owners and a delicious continental breakfast. The location is perfect if you are driving, close enough to the centre without the noise.
Excellent location in the market square of Ypres, easy and free parking for me and my mate as we were on motorbikes and parked right outside the hotel. The owners and staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was perfectly adequate for me.
The property is ideally situated in the centre of Ypres , a few minutes walk from the Menin Gate and on the doorstep for numerous bars, restaurants and shops. The rooms are more than adequate for a quick stopover and the hotel is clean and tidy.
Great Hotel for visitors to the First World War battlefields of the Ypres Salient. It has fantastic staff and a wonderful collection of artefacts in the lobby. Close by the Grand Place and a short stroll to the Menin Gate.
This is a terrific hotel, just steps from the main square. The staff were helpful and very nice. Friends stayed here over the summer and really like this hotel. I was not disappointed - I would stay here again in a minute!
The breakfast is all right and a great variety. The hotel is in the middle of town at the square where you can also park your car for very little money. When I visit Ieper Icertai ly return to thishotel
I experienced a serious knee injury the day after we arrived at Novotel. The staff loaned me a wheelchair for my stay and provided ice for my knee as needed. I can't thank them enough!
Great spot to stay in Ypres. Sven was a very hospitable host and a pleasure to deal with. The gite was spotless and it was easy to walk to the market square
