Canggu is a bit of a digital nomad city.
Canggu is a bit of a digital nomad city. It's great for beaches, cafes, bars etc but not quite cultural Bali if that's what you're looking for. I felt like there were more tourists/foreigners residing here than there were local people. It caters to most needs and is very convenient. There are good gyms and other service facilities. Great area with lots of great restaurants, cafes and shopping. Unfortunately the road is not direct so can take up to 40mins to get from one spot to the next. Canguu is a great place because all the cool and groovy people have meant that there are heaps of great cafes and restaurants around the place and the two big beach clubs make this area great as well. Grab cars and bikes are so cheap the rest of bali is accessible.

We also always had lunch and dinner at the same cafe, everything was great. Beautiful territory surrounded with a lot of greenery and very nice pools. Stuff was very friendly and responsive. Fast wifi and 3 minutes walk to the beach. You also can walk 10 minutes to the main street with cafes and shops.
