We ate breakfast out at other restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was typical "Irish Breakfast" that we found at all hotels in Ireland. The room was clean and had nice view of the park across the street. Was excellent for walking around town and had a supermarket just around the corner.

Wonderful location for this beautiful original country house and estate beside Lough Swilly. Warm welcome from Irene. We were shown to the Jonathon Swift room, huge room full of antique furniture. The lounge area was one half and down a few steps to the other half with a four poster bed. Large bathroom with shower and modern roll top bath. The dining room had beautifully laid white linen tables for breakfast and dinner, both of which were wonderful. Breakfast was served to your table. Jacqueline and her staff were excellent. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay for what we needed, bonus that you got breakfast included! There was a help yourself buffet with yoghurts, pastries, cereal etc and you could also order hot breakfast, fab deal! Staff are very friendly and approachable. Yvonne on front desk is a gem! Rooms have all you need and bed was comfy.

Catroina was such a lovely host! She made us feel so welcome and she share many great insights about the surrounding area and suggestions for exploring. Her hot breakfast was filling and delicious with French press coffee, as well as a variety of cold/continental options to choose from. Our room & beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was a recent addition/remodel. Great shower and overall layout!

We didn't spend much time in Letterkenny other than for dinner. We ate at the Yellow Pepper which i would highly recommend. It's a robust town that i would have liked to explore and the surrounding area but we were on our way to another area of Donegal. We cabbed to dinner so we were able to have a few glasses of wine with dinner. Cabs were easy to get just outside the bank. Quick ride home with good service. Traffic during rush hour was busy although not as busy as a larger city.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

Just used it as a base, plus it was a bank holiday and shops were all closed. So left in the morning and didn’t come back until evening.But it was a busy town traffic wise. 3.30 in the morning and traffic was still driving down the Main Street. Could see it but noise wise we couldn’t hear it.

I want to the hotel for a small one nite break but now think it was too short, 2 or more nites wud be more beneficial, the hotel staff were very helpful, the food in the restaurant was 1st class as cud not fault it, the facilities where brilliant as the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi was a bliss just relaxing and no cares, next time 2 or more days as can be used as a base and travel around, 5/5 for me 👍Millar - 6.0Scored 6.0

Letterkenny is a sprawl and would avoid other than to go to a couple the restaurants. But it’s easily bypassed and there are wonderful scenic drives awaiting. Fanad peninsula - Malin Head for example.SweobIreland - 8.0Scored 8.0

There was a lot more to do in the town than I had initially thought. Good retail shops in the retail park and in the town centre. Cathedral is worth a visit. It is a good centre to stay at for exploring mid to northwest Donegal county. Marble Hill strand, Bloody Foreland and Downings are not too far by car. Camille Thai restaurant was very good value - just on edge of the Retail park past Aldi.

Had a great two days in Letterkenny plenty of shops and a good variety of shops to spend your money. Great places to eat and drink may I say but my only complaint is that you can't get anything to eat before 13.30 on a Sunday .PatIreland

We were left standing on the side of the street with all of our luggage. This man is a fraud and scammer and I will be taking this further In order to get our money back!! It is as described in the Booking.com. Breakfast warm - traditionally British (egg, ham, sausage, beans, …) and it is not self-served. The cold dishes (beverages, cheese, salami, fruits) are self-served. I miss normal continental bread but this is not just in this hotel it is all around Ireland.
