Located a short walk from the most extraordinary Caserta palace that requires at least three hours to visit. Truly an ‘art’ hotel with skilful landscapes painted directly onto walls and two tiny chairs glued to the bedroom wall betraying a wry sense of humour. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, the surrounding streets coming alive in the evening. Breakfast delivered to our room was as delicious as it was surprising. Super helpful staff managed, with the help of Google translate, send us safely on our way.

The palace was amazing, the town was great but it is also a quiet relaxed place but close to Naples, Caiazzo, etc. if we’d know it was as close to places we would have booked 3-5 nights there. The breakfast was great.

We went to see the castle.
We went to see the castle. Apart from the castle and grounds, which are spectacular and worth the trip is you are an architecture and garden enthusiast, the town itself didn’t seem to have much going on. There is an historic center and a bit of shopping, but Caserta itself is not an old city. We did not go to the old town, Caserta Vecchio, which is a few kilometers away our purpose in going was to visit the castle & Grounds, which did not disappoint.

The Royal palace definitely is worth the trip.
The Royal palace definitely is worth the trip. It certainly rivals Versailles. The apartments seem endless with so much opulence you can hardly take it all in. The grounds cover 4 km walking in a straight line and give a telescopic view and impression. The marble statues at all the fountains and inside the palace blow your mind. This is a must to visit. Useful tip, they have golf buggy tours very cheap for those that don’t want to walk the 8 km round trip. Also you can hire bikes.Tge English Garden at the end of the long avenue is gorgeous.

The historic center is quiet, pleasant and very nice to walk around. We stayed in I Borbone on Corso Trieste , 400 meters from the Palace . There are trees along the street, good shops and good restaurants. The people everywhere were friendly and helpful. We liked our stay. We came because of the palace which was worthwhile visiting and we’re glad we stayed for the night. We ate at Umami which was very good. I have visited a hairdresser salon “balmain” which was v good .
This is one of the nicest hotels in Caserta, I would say. I was welcomed by the front desk in a very warm way. The room I had was very spacious and comfortable. They had a shower stall that could close up. It might seem small for some, but I actually liked it because it created like a sauna in the shower capsule-and there was a variety of jets you could use. There was even a seat in the shower for people who might have trouble with mobility. There was free parking and the hotel was easy to find from the highway.
Everything was so good, the rooms were clean, all the furniture are new. It was so comfortable and the stuff is so welcoming and nice. Also they referred us to good restaurants and wonders, they even helped us look for an apartment for rent, they are available at all time. The breakfast is so consistent and delicious. The location of the B&B is perfect, it's in the middle of caserta near the train station which make it so convenient. Everything about this B&B is perfect.
It was in a great location, the staff were nice friendly folks. We were able to check in late (due to our late flight), unlike many other hotels in the area. The room was nice and it had a great terrace. The breakfast was not bad. The staff was really willing to help with the minor issue we had. The breakfast (a coupon for a cafe nearby) was tasty, although a bit lackluster.
It wasn't very far from the palace and it had parking spots to leave our rental car at.
Since we do not drive in Europe, we look for good places near a main train station and the center of town. This hotel had both and staff were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet was a great start to a day of touring the town and countryside. This hotel is also very easy walking distance to tour the fabulous 18th-century palace, a main attraction of this region. The room was large, very clean, and had a sitting area and desk area.
It was in a lovely Medieval town. The hotel was clean and smelled amazing. Rooms were a good size and had an individual balcony. Perfect for that morning cappuccino. The staff was kind and considerate. They arraigned for a dinner and a cake (my nephew’s 13th bday). We all agreed that it was the best meal we had during our trip. Food was very good. We would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is right in the middle of Caserta, you can pretty much walk everywhere (including the train station). It's a 40m comute to Napoli (by train). The staff was amazing and always ready to help. A special shout out to Rita who cooked our breakfast every day, you're a legend! If you're looking for a place around Caserta make sure you include this one in your pool of options.
Hotel Plana was comfortable and very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and the selection of food available was particularly good. The ladies who served breakfast, Jurate and Margo, were great and could not do enough to help.
Bedroom was a good size and en suite facilities were good.
A beautiful and clean house in Caserta! The location is very good, the royal palace is just cross the road. The owner is very kind and nice. She helped us for parking arrangement and explained all details we needed. The breakfast was served in the room and very good. Would like to recommend who needs a cozy place with a good value.
The welcoming snacks and drinks in the fridge are ridiculously abundant! You literally can get anything you want in the kitchen (and bathroom ). Both AC units are very powerful during the summer. The host is also very helpful and responsive. Definitely will go back again if we have friends visiting Caserta. Grazie mille!
A wonderful place to stay when visiting Caserta. the owner made our stay so enjoyable- he had information on all the places to visit, made our dinner reservation & drove us to dinner! The location is convenient & parking is easy. The lodging is clean & charming. This was one of our best stays in Italy.
The location is perfect, right across from Reggio Caserta. It's situated in an area of stores and restaurants. The rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast is in a nice Cafe that is close by.
Valentina is a wonderful host. She even picked us up and dropped us off at the parking lot.
Hotel room was superbly clean, location was right next to the Caserta palace & gardens. There is an elevator in this building as well. Breakfast is included at an external cafe around the corner with lovely staff (pastry per person & drink). Overall can't fault.
Very nice clean and technically advanced B&B hotel in Caserta with spacious common kitchen and sofa area. Good italian breakfast is included and snacks / drinks in the fridge are provided. The host is very pleasant and responsive.
Very good location, 5 minutes walk from the train station. I've been traveling for two months and this hotel has the best pillows and it's quiet, I slept great. Very nice rooms designed by very good hoteliers.
The location of the hotel was excellent for visiting the palace. The room was very comfortable and quiet, but accessible to the palace and the rest of the city.
My stay was perfect. The hotel had everything. Friendly staff, restaurant for quick dinner in the building.. great cover private parking spot. well located
