The staff were very nice..Fresh baked morning goods at breakfast.The view from our room.was lovely.(We booked a lake view room its a must).The hotel is an older type Italian hotel that is going to be updated for next year the manager told us. Sarnico is a nice town We flew from Manchester to Bergamo ..Bus from the airport to Bergamo stand 1 pay cash or card at the bus stand 3 euros.Get off at the Ist stop in Bergamo Short walk round to the bus station get a ticket 4.60 euro to Sarnico.Just over an hour you will be there.5 minute walk to the hotel.The ferry stop is very close to the Hotel. Monte Isola is lovely and so is Iseo town.Hope this helps.

Lovely apartment everything we could ask for and more. Great location on the edge of lake Iseo with a beautiful view of the lake.
Eleonora was a great host, quick to respond to questions, providing lots of recommendation for restaurants and places to see. Will recommend to friends.

The hotel in located in nature, in the top of a hill. The view with the lake is breath taking! The room was clean and we had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was very simple. They do not have an appropriate restaurant. Because I do not speak Italian language, it was difficult to communicate with the host. She was very kind anyhow.

Sarnico is a beautiful town.
Sarnico is a beautiful town. Good for either a short break or a stop on your travels. Many restaurants and shops. We ate in a few of them and can recommend all of them. Is inhabited by locals and not so many tourists so less touristy. Can walk from place to place easily. Look out for different priced accommodation. There is a place for everyone's choice. Market is on Thursday. Pay a visit to the church in the centre of the town. Beautiful. Can swim in the lake, a little way out on the left hand side of Lake Iseo. Ice cream along the river, in the car park is divine. Parking a little pricey and all day. Main road across bridge so this road can be busy.

Make sure you get the updated book for the lake.
Make sure you get the updated book for the lake. You need a car to get around to all of the sights around the lake. It was lovely and very little tacky tourist traps. Refreshing to visit all of the sights around the lake. It was a little difficult to find sights even with GPS.JJudithGermany

And having breakfast al fresco was the perfect way to begin our day. We will definitely return as it is a three-hour drive from where we live and the town of Sarnico is lovely. The bathroom is nice and big with a walk in shower making getting ready easy and cool. The fridge is a really useful addition allowing the keeping of cold drinks and milk to hand. The balcony is a nice thing to have as it looks over the pool and beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The bed is big and comfortable and the glazing keeps most noise out to aid restful sleep.
