I missed my flight thanks to the horrendous airport traffic and its terrible design! To top it off, there was only one access point for returning the rental car. Now, I'm stuck shelling out an extra 1000 SAR for a new ticket. This is absolutely ridiculous!

Old town was brilliant. Could wander round it for ages.
Old town was brilliant. Could wander round it for ages. Lots of it is being renovated, so going to be even better in future
corniche was lovely to walk along. Beaches were not accessible along there though. Perhaps to do with Ramadan?
Red Sea Mall is probably very nice if you like shopping - not really my thing so didnt stay too long!
We told about other beaches where you could go snorkelling. But had limited time on our visit to do this. Having seen sting ray, turtle and tons of fish when walking along the Corniche I wish we had had time to do it

Need to understand that Yeddah is a big city and everything...
Need to understand that Yeddah is a big city and everything is far away from everything. The old town of Yeddah is a must see. We enjoy the walk first in the morning alone because was Friday and nobody was in there and everything was closed but we can stop at the fantastic houses to see them and take pictures. We ate in a traditional fish restaurant was perfect and then evening and night time the old city was alive plenty of people shopping and walking.
The market is a big market with 100 of little chops away, every street with a particular item so every shop on the street is selling only the particular item: one place for clothes, an other shops with perfumes, food, sandals...etc.
The museum is interesting but far from the old town.
The Corniche with the see, harbour and the Mosque floating upon the sea is 30 Km by car from the Old City, is growing every day with a new restaurant, buildings, also you can see the families enjoying the day or the evening.

Traffic is busier than you think, weather is hotter than you imagine, streets are cleaner than you expect, prices are more expensive than you plan, driving is harsher than what you were told, transportation is weak for such a wonderful city. Private cars can give you cheaper ride than taxi. Uber is damn expensive, basic hair cut can be around $10 USD.
First starting to say that we did not stay in the hotel we booked but were relocated to Laten Suites Al Salim Plaza. Ok for us, we did not choose the previous one for the location and this one was near as well. And prop for the communication that was excellent, and we get the warning of the change with enough time.
The room was really big. More than enough space was there, but looked like it does not add any value, because it was a bit of pointless space, no added value on having all that space. But nevertheless, 5 starts for the big space.
The staff was friendly and gentle, it was so neat and tidy, The booking process was very smooth and flexible. I loved my stay there so much that I extended my stay with them willingly.
I have booked hotel rooms and apartments in several places in different cities in many countries, but I did not find anything like Spectrums Residence Jeddah. Spectrums. I highly recommend it. I have, in The God willing, a next visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and you are my first choice♥️
Amazing luxurious atmosphere, classy and vintage.. old furniture but immaculately clean.
The staff listened to our needs and we were surprised with Executive Suite upgrade, thanks yo Mr. Alaa.
Location is nice, opposite Corniche, need a taxi to go to a supermarket to a mall or walk 15 minutes to reach any nearby shop.
Cafes are nearby to reach within 10 minute walk.
Will for sure recommend the hotel you all my friends and will be coming back again..
I had the fastest check in and check out. Upon arrival they offered us an upgrade from 1 room to 2 room appartement. The amenities and service were of a 5 star hotel. I really enjoyed the stay. The location is great and surounded by restaurants and supermarkets. The room service was exceptional. They always pick up when i call them and the receptionists were really kind. I would definitely choose their residence if i ever visit Jeddah again
Everything. The hotel is very clean and the beds are very comfy.
5 stars go to Mustafa. He was working hard to ensure the guests had the best experience. His hard work should be noted and appreciated. He is always there for you and works round the clock.
Thanks, Mustafa, for looking after us.
Since I saw the hotel listing on Booking, I loved the design of the room and how traditional and modern it looked. I loved everything about the hotel; the staff, the facilities, and the room. The only thing that I can comment on is the breakfast. It was lower than what I expected.
It’s ambience, location and the standard of this particular hotel among the chain of crowne plazas in Saudi Arabia. This is my third stay here. Every time I long for the day I would be back here. Home like stay.
I liked everything about the hotel. The staff were fantastic and very helpful, especially Islam and Rana. The proximity of the hotel to the Al Andalus Mall made it even more worthwhile. It's a 5 star service.
Absolutely fantastic great place with great staff and location I will use it every time I am on Jeddah this hotel is better then the other high brand hotel in the area 5 star all the way
the best ever hotel in Saudi Arabia and the Wi-fi service is excellent and the hotel manger Mr.fady was very friendly and meet all my expectations for all my needs
