The location is wonderful: away from the roads, by the lake and surrounded by forests. Vast open areas around the castle/hotel complex.
Breakfast: superb quality.
The staff are very accommodating, too.
Comfortable beds, huge shower room.
I liked the fact that it was clearly marked which parts of the complex allow dogs, cars, etc, and which don't.
The room was small and it had no fridge, but there's a big common room and a separate fully equipped kitchen. There's a coffee machine in the kitchen as well.

Fabulous unspoiled location in the Swedish countryside, surrounded by forests, fields and farms, with cattle, sheep and beautiful poneys!! Private lake for swimming and relaxing, yet very near to Gnesta station (direct to Stockholm City and Arlanda airport). Authentic country home with very welcoming and helpful owners. Delicious and copious breakfast in an amazingly elegant dining room overlooking the lake.

The room was pretty and spacious, and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. If you wish to dine in the hotel, remember to book your table in advance, the restaurant was full. Dinner was also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived several hours before the check-in time, and with a small additional cost we got our rooms for our use. If you are traveling with dogs, this place is for you. Pets are welcome and right next to the hotel is a nice little forest with trails.

The facility is perfect to catch an early morning flight but can also give you the option to visit the beautiful small city Nyköping. The breakfast was delicious and smorgasbord. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean and contained some advertisements as bar a restaurant and a gym.
If you stay here you should visit the game reserve.
If you stay here you should visit the game reserve. There are some typical Swedish wild animals there. It will take you roughly an hour to walk around to see everything. There are also some nice trails that you can follow to see the surroundings.
