The staff tried their best to accommodate our needs, but the lady at the reception got upset when we constantly had an issue with the room Aircon.it was sweltering, not really our fault.

This is a quieter area inland from coast, with a focus on health and fitness. Soi Ta-iad is a street with multiple muay thai gyms, fitness bootcamps, yoga studios and sports massage centres. Accomodation is more reasonably priced that the coast, and there are plenty of great local food options with a healthy focus. Still easy to get to the beach in a taxi within 20 mins, and close to the Big Buddha as well.

Had to ask for towels , no toilet paper , bed was hard as, and never changed any bed linen.
No soaps or bath mats.
I could keep complaining but I give up.
Would not recommend staying at this run down such and such 😠😠😠

We enjoyed going to some of the beaches off the beaten track, also chalong pier and many places where you could sit and have nice food, it is worth a little ride out to find these hidden gems. The sunset at Prom Thep Cape was amazing worth the walk up all the steps.

Chalong is a martial arts mecca.
Chalong is a martial arts mecca. You will find many juiced up Europeans that "eyeball" everything that looks like a potential match. Nothing really happens, but it is uncomfortable if you are there on holiday or other means. However, most people will go there for purposes of sports and do not mind that, so just be aware of what you will find if you book this place out of desperate needs or good prices.
The food is AMAZING! The best food I have ever had in 3 trips to Phuket, was all centered in that one street. They cater for healthy meals and it has great tastes. It is the only reason why I would visit it again to experience all the creative meals.
Chalong is far away from any nice swim beaches and I would recommend a scooter if you want to go for that. But again, most of the guests there go for the sports and occasionally take their trips to the beaches after all that.

We liked this area a lot, since it was not a tourist trap and the prices were really reasonable! There are more Tesco Lotuses in the area. The food is really great, the prices are cheap and people are friendly. There are a lot of sights to see and if you rent a motorbike evertything can be approached easily😊☝🏼

My favorite part in Phuket, for sure if you are traveling to train bjj/muay thai/mma etc. It is not the party place despite that you can still find a few places to chill.
You are 15 minutes away from Big Buddha and almost the same from Chalong temple.
A similar ride can get you you to Kata beach or Nai Hrn beach which are tourist favorites.
We had an amazing stay at the Chalong Chalet Resort. The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. There were 2 swimming pools which were well maintained and we had a jacuzzi included which was a nice addition. Breakfast was served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and despite the fairly limited selection of breakfast it was good for the price we payed. They also serve things other than what is provided if you ask, which we appreciated. The WiFi was adequate and sometimes cut out but could be fixed easily.
We choose Chalong because there are many Muay Thai and fitness gyms and the Blue Hotel is located a t walking distance from all of them, it was very convenient.
With booked the suite with the kitchen and it was very big; the space is split in kitchen (with a table that can accommodate 4 persons) and living room with sofa, and night zone with a very decent sized and comfortable bed. It also had a very large balcony with a bathtub.
The room on the top floor is a nice little extra and we used it many times to relax.
staff was extremely helpful and kind - we were there on our honeymoon and we sincerely had the best hotel/resort experience ever. definitely try the spa & floating lunch! excellent kitchen as well - we were very sad that we had to leave but we stayed almost 2 weeks in total. crazy luxurious villa’s with private pool and excellent service - a bit away from Patong etc (30 minutes by taxi) but I liked that it was away from the crazy madness of downtown Phuket. Very relaxing experience!
The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to accomodate any wishes. The food in their little restaurant/cafe was great and reasonably priced.
The pool areas and all in all the whole resort is very cozy. It shows some signs of aging but is very well maintained.
It's also a great place if you want to go diving or island hopping with lot's of diving schools close-by as well as Chalong Pier (around 1.5km away)
I loved my stay at Cocoville resort which is tucked away in Chalong, but close proximity to the gyms and restaurants. I stayed in a villa type accommodation, which had its own porch, fridge, large bathroom and two pools at the resort. The location and the atmosphere was so calm and idyllic, but close enough to everything and a short journey to attractions and the Phuket old town. Loved my stay!
Great location for fitness enthusiasts or people who have no idea this area even existed (us). Receptionist/Manager is fluent in English. Cozy layout of hotel, circular formation of rooms around central garden and separate rooms at the back towards a small but clean pool. Younger people were frequently staying here and socialising together.
The staff were very nice. The villa’s were done beautifully with place for jacuzzi and massage. The massage itself was good but overpriced compared to other places. The hotel is close-to a busy road but you cannot hear the noise when inside. All the villas are in the jungle and the surrounding is quiet and peaceful.
We booked it because it is on the right site in Phuket (Chalong). It´s not really surrounded by beaches. It's an excellent choice if you want to explore Phuket or go on boat trips to PhiPhi / Krabi. There are many travel agencies in the area. The rest of the tourists need to travel to this main port in Phuket.
Super location in the fighting street of Phuket!
Staff was super polite and helpfull when i had any questions.
Room was amazing with a great view on the pool, they also cleaned every other day.
Nothing to complain about with this hotel, highly reccomended.
Next time i will come back for sure!
Everything was amazing! The location was perfect especially with the shortcut by the Blue hotel to get to the main road. The pool was beautiful though I never used it. Big huge room with lots of space to work out in. (The roosters next door aren’t that bad at all!)👍🏻👍🏻
Very beautiful villa, perfectly equipped in the kitchen and for babies. Nice bedding! Jiravudh was a wonderful host, very reactive helping us with a lot of things including motorbike rental dropped in the villa.
Next to chalong bay distillery
Great location if you wish to use any of the gyms on the street. Staff very friendly and helpful, pool very chilled and relaxed. Overall will definitely return to this spot when I come back to Phuket in the future.
There was a large pool just outside the room and was fantastic. The Breakfast was great with a good variety of cuisines. The beach was just on the other side of the hotel which was handy and it was a quiet beach.
The room view is really nice and the hotel design , I liked having a pool inside the room but some of the rooms have smaller pool so you have to check for staying in to get a good one
