Great location near everything including the lake, beds comfortable, rooms spacious, always plenty of hot water and great heating system. Shower fabulous and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay an unforgettable one. Carla especially was one of the loveliest people you could meet. Don’t even bother looking anywhere else just book this property and I guarantee you won’t regret it.

There were a couple of very attractive trails for biking which is one of the reasons we chose Big Bear. We also enjoyed strolling in Big Bear Village...some nice shops and a good variety of restaurants.
Beware that the roads leading to Big Bear are very windy and some people choose to go much faster than the speed limit so I would suggest going only on slow traffic days and in good weather.

Charming place, the Village was a lovely place with many stores and restaurants. I advise to book restaurants in advance during the holidays because it gets full and it can be hard to find a place to eat. We ended up in a restaurant named "Sizzler" very late on Dec 24th, and it surprised us with very good steaks and shrimps plus good service.

I was there before the first snow. Not too crowded, not too empty. Just perfect, probably the last days of fall. It is magic if you like hiking, and looking for refuge in nature. Locals are extremely warm. For shoppers, there is an attractive shopping area.

Traveled to Big Bear to visit son.
Traveled to Big Bear to visit son. My stay at Lagonita Lodge was AWESOME, right on the Lake with lots of amenities! Off-Season price was very affordable for apartment/condo unit with FULL Kitchen and a Living Room with Fireplace!! Staff was friendly and very helpful. I was stranded at Lodge when my son experienced car trouble. NO UBER Services in off-season! NO RENTAL CAR AGENCIES in Big Bear!! Thank God there was a Friday Night Welcome Party that evening at the Lodge, with lots of FREE, delicious food and drinks; otherwise, I may have gone hungry, LOL! There are probably Grub Hub or Door Dash services, not sure! Employees Mike and Cindy (hope I have her name right, she was new), were wonderful and lots of fun to be around at events! Fantastic place for a Family Reunion or a Class Reunion. LOVED the fireplace and my second floor view of the lake! Not accustomed to driving mountain roads, scary! My negative feedback is there were no assigned parking spaces and we could never find an open spot, had to park on the street and walk!! The tub enclosure had MOLD. My son brought me Tilex, I sprayed tub ledge and some of the MOLD disappeared. The rest of the mold was caulked over and could not be cleaned!! Overall, a great place to stay! Dinner at AZTECA Mexican Grill was delicious and the SANGRIA was killer!! Best Sangria, lots of fruit!! LouEddie’s Pizza outside Big Bear in Sky Forest on State Hwy 18 is fantastic, pizza is scrumptious, great views on Rim of the World Highway, Scenic Overlook! Maggio’s in Big Bear had a wonderful Spinach Salad! Took day trip to Palm Springs to go on Aerial Tramway, what a thrill.

My wife and I had a great time taking a pontoon boat out of Hollaways Marina for a few hours and do some fishing and just relaxing on the boat. It was a short drive to Lake Arrowhead for the afternoon and we enjoyed going into the village to walk a little and sight seeing.

There were 3 levels in this lovely lake view condo - if stairs are an issue for you this probably isn’t the condo for you. The 1st floor and through the garage had a very sweet studio with a king size bed. It also had a small patio with a view of the lake. The 2nd floor was the living / kitchen / dining area (open concept). It had a small outside deck with a nice view of the lake and is where we obviously spent most of our time. The 3rd floor had a lovely master and ensuite with the best views of the lake. There was a 3rd bedroom and bath on the street side. The condo was nicely decorated and a relaxing atmosphere. We found the dishes, bedding, towels etc very nice quality for a rental. I actually brought my own towel due to past experiences at other condos - no need here.
We loved the location… we walked to the Village every day for meals and popping in and out of stores. Best pancakes we found were at Teddy Bear Restaurant - just a short 5 minute walk. We walked to the marina and took a boat ride on the Big Bear Queen which was also very nice.
The dishwasher was broken when we were there but for us was not an issue as there were only 4 of us and we only cooked 1 breakfast and ate out the other 5 days we were there which is what we love to do.
Noon Lodge has lots of activities for the kids—bocce ball, canoeing, corn hole, fishing off the dock and room to toss a frisbee. Gathering spaces and seating are plentiful. The grounds and plantings are beautiful and well-kept. Everyone in our group of 18 enjoyed their spacious cabins. The beds were comfortable and the kitchens contained all the necessities. The manager of the property was welcoming and responsive to any questions and requests.
Last minute booking for a good deal. The fireplace was nice and I enjoyed the little kitchenette. Beds were comfy and check in/check out was easy. Room was large which isn't the most important thing to me but was nice. Liked the soaps and lotion provided. Because our trip was short, we didn't get a chance to utilize the little common space in the main lodge but had we stayed there for more than a couple of nights I likely would have used it.
This is a great place to stay !! Karen is very kind and SUPER available to assist you and give advices for your staying at Big Bear Lake. She keeps the house SUPER CLEAN !!! The location is perfect if you want to reach any activities in just few minutes :))
Kitchen well equipped if you want to cook .
Some extra details like night lights / Google home
Multiple usb charging stations/ automatic lock door/ board games
The cabins are beautiful...There was an issue with the first cabin...A small leak that was compromising my stay...It was dripping from the top shower/spa from the master bedroom...Luigi was the one helping...He accommodated us with a new Cabin...Which was better then the previous one...It was late at night...Within 20 minutes of us calling we were enjoying our new cabin...
This property sits in a beautifully wooded location on far from Big Bear Lake and many restaurants. The hotel was very nice and impressive and had somewhat of an old-world quality with some of the furnishings and style. The breakfast had one of the best breakfast burritos I've had and several other items as well. My family was very pleased.
super cozy! we loved the fireplace and the hot tub overlooking the sunset. we also loved having a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the ski slopes. the cabin felt isolated, even though it was surrounded by other cabins. the owner was also very accommodating, especially during the crazy storms. we plan on staying again next winter!
Our room was downstair. On top of us there are two units. They had dogs running around all night and the other unit had arguing till morning. I stayed 3 night. First 2 nights were nightmare. Then I ask stuff to change the room.
This motel is pet friendly but not human friendly. Especially if you are assigned to downstairs.
Our room was right on Big Bear Lake with incredible views! We really enjoyed the balcony. Great location near many shops and activities. The kitchen was well supplied for our needs and the living room was comfortable. We got an excellent midweek rate for the one bedroom apartment. Enjoyed playing foosball in the rec room.
I love this location and the vibe of the community itself. It's such a cute collection of cabins! I appreciate the idea of your own cabin within a small community. The people around are always very friendly as well. Plus it's right next to the road, and walking distance from Boulder Bay Park.
Very good location and the cabins are cozy, very comfortable and well equipped.
There is a small playground surrounded by the cabins that is great if you go with kids.
A great thing in this unprecedented times is that you can check in and out completely contactless.
Very nice Best Western, exceeded my expectations. Nice walk trail behind the hotel. Comfortable, had everything we needed. Not sure if the AC worked will, the room was warm, but we just turned it off and opened the window, it was nice out.
One of the best places I've stayed in California. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. The area is very nice, in winter probably even more so. If you pass by the area I recommend this accommodation. Super!
I loved the location. How spread out the cabins were. How intimate the cabin felt. The overall design was contemporary and clean. The investors did a really good job of finding purposeful design.
I like that it was dog friendly. I like that it was a six minute walk to the village, so it was easy to enjoy big bear lake village without moving the car.
