Boss Queen Soul Cafe was nearby. EXCELLENT 😎
Shrimp, Catfish, Crab Cakes, Mixed Drinks. AWESOME.
BEST CRAB CAKES THAT I EVER HAD.
I wish that I had another couple of days to stay in Norfolk.
I would go to Boss Queen Soul Cafe twice a day.
I put some Crab Cakes in a ziplock bag in my checked luggage 💼.
As soon as I returned to Nashville, I unpacked those Crab Cakes,
put some in the microwave, tore them up.

Norfolk was a great city - not too big.
Norfolk was a great city - not too big. There were restaurants everywhere and we tried several of them. It was easy to navigate in Norfolk - we found the Walmart near us as well as a drug store. We went to the wine festival and found a parking lot with no problem. It was great!

We stayed at the Hilton on main and upon checking in. The staff informed us that we could leave our car parked there while we go on our cruise and it would only cost us $12 . When we returned from our cruise we couldn't get out of the garage we called and after waiting around 30 minutes they came out and charged us $90 some dollars. After we paid we still had to wait 5 min more for them to open the gate. There were 3 cars behind us that told us that they were told the same thing( that it would only cost$12 one time fee to leave their cars) I called and talked to the front desk manager and she was very rude. She said that it's the state's parking garage that she can't do anything about it. THE FRONT DESK STAFF LIE To the guest and evidently are allowed to.

Loved the Norfolk area in general.
Loved the Norfolk area in general. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the extremely crowdedVirgina Beach. Definitely worth the visit to the USS Missouri and Naticus Museum.
Mission Barbecue is AMAZING!
The hotel is a joke.

The pool was the dirtest I have ever swam in I found a clump of hair floating in the pool plus the bottom of the pool was dirty. i don't think that the filtration system was working as i did not seen water moving in the pool for the 3 days that we stayed there
The location was perfect for my concert at The Norva. I felt well taken care of and looked after during my stay. Every employee that I came in contact with were friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and functional too. The fitness room was wonderful and very clean. Breakfast was delicious! I'm looking for a reason to come back to NOrfolk again so I can stay at The Glass Light!
The room was decorated very well and extremely clean. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a convenient location, close to shopping, restaurants and the highway. The temporary small restaurant did offer some very good simple choices.
Worst experience ever. AC not working and my only solution was leave the hotel at 10 pm. Asked for housekeeping and no response. They keep passing the blame to someone else. It was worse than a motel stay. Will never ever stay at a double tree either personal or business.
Beautiful view from my very nice room. The staff was very nice and the location was perfect for dining in the downtown district. First time visitor in Norfolk, will definitely come back for a vacation spot.
Staff at front desk and restaurant were very charming and helpful. Clean quiet room seemed like the hotel was well kept up. Location was near everything, plenty of parking and Starbucks onsite was a plus.
LOVE THE BEACH. Room had very sanding floors all the time, not properly serviced, Not much of a Breakfast. Had to ask for linins and such. But over all really enjoyed ourselves.
